AX Art Atelier

Xoey is such an incredible makeup artist and educator. I went to AX Art Atelier for their 1:1 Makeup and Hair Lessons as I needed some improving on my makeup and learn how to keep my curls stay longer. Xoey is so sweet, patient and knowledgeable. She showed me some techniques (its all in the wrist ;) ) that I never used before and products that she recommended. From skin care, blending, how to curl your hair and I finally know how to properly put false lashes on! I learned a lot from her. I definitely recommend trying out their Makeup or Hair lessons, even if you are just a beginner or just need some brushing up your makeup skills. BTW their studio is really cute, easy to find, clean and professional. Thank you again Xoey!

Update: Just saw Margarita for my permanent eye liner tattoo. She is an amazing artist who I felt super comfortable with. She spent a great deal of time confirming what I wanted and designing my liner, and I can tell she is a perfectionist with her art. She made sure I was comfortable during the procedure and she used some pretty good numbing gel. I wanted a 'whimsical' & everyday liner and she really delivered. She's got a lot of experience and I would recommend her to anyone! This studio continues to add on great MUAs!Annie and Xoey are the sweetest and best artists! I've seen Annie for my brows and a touch up (the shape and fullness of my brows has retained for a long time which I am happy about because my brows are naturally sparse in some areas. What prompted me for a touch up was to deepen the color again). I am very happy with my results! I've seen Xoey for many eyelash extension appointments over the past year. Not only do I get beautiful and full lashes from her, but she makes it so comfortable that I fall asleep every time! I get such a recharge during my lash fill appointments that it had become a 'self-love' habit to go see her. Their beautiful new studio is lovely and despite opening during COVID times, they have put in the effort to keep their studio clean and safe! Ive seen a canister of Cavicide so you know they mean business! I would only trust these girls for my future elopement day!

I booked a makeup appointment and Annie was my makeup artist. She was wonderful! She took extra care in the makeup application process and was gentle. It was like chatting with an old friend the whole time. My makeup lasted the entire day and night; just as she said it would. She made me look 10-15 years younger! Thank you, Annie, for making me look glam! Everyone who attended the wedding I went to, loved my makeup look! I'm so glad that I found them through I Like Her Style magazine.

Xoey is an incredible artist and got me and my mother ready for my wedding. She also did my ombré powder brows, which have turned out absolutely incredible. I’ve gotten repeat compliments.My makeup did not budge on my wedding even amongst all the happy tears during the ceremony. My hair also looked great throughout the day and evening.My mother has never looked better and also received so many compliments on the day.She’s funny, and a real treat to work with. She completely understands what you’re looking for, and is honest and flexible.

Ax Art Atelier is such a beautiful salon! Got my powder ombre brows done by the amazingly talented Annie, she is so kind and lovely. I am obsessed the whole experience was great and she did a amazing job. Highly recommended! 10/10

I got my makeup done recently by Jenny for my bachelorette party and she did such an amazing job! I can’t recommend her enough. I was concerned about under eye creasing and she gave me an extra touch of powder at the end and it stayed put all night. She was also so sweet and lovely to chat with. 11/10 would recommend

I booked a private makeup lesson for my mom here and was very impressed with the service! I was able to book, and pay online for my mom to attended her make up lesson. She is a senior and recently re-entered the workforce and wanted to learn so make up tips. She was so happy with her makeup and said the makeup artist really listened to what she wanted and taught her a lot of new tricks. I would highlyrecommend this company!

I had the pleasure of working with Zerina and Xoey to do my hair and make up for my wedding day. They’re professional, easy to talk too, super friendly, arrived on time, detailed orientated, quick to respond to all my questions and needs (list goes on on and on).. and of course the BEST in the game in Vancouver! I have been seeing Elin for haircuts. I have never ever loved my hair this much. Elin is truly a master of her craft. She is highly skilled, efficient with time and super chill. I want my hair to grow faster, just so I can experience an Elin haircut! Also, her scalp massages are 11/10.
