Dollar Tree

I love getting the weird off brand snacks and making my friends try them... i was sad they don't have the 2L faygo anymore but the 750ml faygo with more flavour options is a fair trade.

Dollar Tree is a big store where you can get almost any home product you can think of. And guess what..? They are amazingly affordable! I bought a good number of items there at C$1.50 each, and I love them. The shelves are stocked with varieties and are well sectioned. Although they're quite understaffed as there aren't enough store attendants to attend to your inquiries.

My favorite thing about this store is that everything is $1.25! I just moved and there are a few essentials that I was able to get from there and it didn't break the bank! They have some nice dishes and decent dish towels. They don't have as many brand name things like Dollarama but they have a few. One of my favorite finds there was the Nakd bars! a healthy treat from the dollar store who knew?! My only complaint is that we don't have more of these stores in Saskatoon.

Pocket friendly place and ample choice of craft and stationary stuff for kids.

Awesome selection for a dollarstore. The only suggestion I have is to maybe get a change table. My husband goes in and sometimes he needs to change our baby and he can't. There also isn't one in the ladies room. Would be nice to be able to change our baby instead of in the van or across the street at giant Tiger.

The selection at this Dollar Tree is not bad. It is my favorite place to shop for products cheaper then Dollarama.However, watch at the check out. Sometimes the clerks don't know the money, or pay much attention to how things are packaged and you get taken at the till. I was robbed of $3 when I was charged for a three packaged item as individual items. I was also robbed of $2 from my change. Someone I knew lost a $20 when it stuck to another bill and was not given a receipt to prove it. Be watchful.Update: As of July 2019 there are no longer any washrooms here. Staff only now. I think this is ridiculous as a policy, as the only other nearby washrooms are two blocks away. Just make them for paying customers only.

Now that Dollarama is up to $5 items, I find myself coming here more frequently. The staff have always been friendly at this location and the store is tidy.

Everything is $1.25. They have nice stuff here. Beautiful dishes. A good place for party supplies. Clean wide aisles. It's easy to spent lots of time here looking at stuff.
