You need to go there especially for the view on timiskaming lake...and the fish and chips! Speciality poutines are also quite interesting. Great service as well.

Last time we were here was 10 years ago and we were going to college in Haileybury. It was called Roosters then and has since gone through a name change. Name might have change but the quality in food is still stellar if not better. Our waitress was great, very prompt and cheerful! Views were amazing! Can’t wait until we can come back!

Great patio on the lake but food was disappointing...the prime rib was expensive but was undercooked and over 30% fat I left most of it uneaten

Great experience. Fine class dining in a relaxed setting. Our server did a great job not interrupting yet close by if we needed anything. Well done 28 on the lake.

Came to visit the Vendors Market and stopped for a bite to eat before returning home. What a stunning place. Inside and out. The back patio and view is better than the food but thankfully the food is incredible. Accessible to the beach and walking trail. Such an amazing experience. Thank you for the cappelletti. It was delicious.

Six of us stopped in for dinner after some sledding. Awesome food and amazing service. I had the smoked meat sandwich and poutine and it was fantastic. Service was very friendly and joking around with us which made our night.

We absolutely loved our lunch at 28 on the Lake. Not only was the weather perfect for sitting on the patio but we were also suggested the best cocktails and lunch options. Service is great and the staff was amazing. Definitely a favourite and will continue to stop in every time I am in town.
