I am baffled at how low other's standards are for car service. I've been here a handful of times and they will rip you off. If they are supplying parts for you, they will cost 3x more than if you were to get those same parts online. There was one time where they installed a new serpentine belt on my car without asking and charged $65 for it. Once again, they replaced a part without asking me first and charged a price way more than what they go for in retail. And don't even think about bringing in your own parts here. The owner/manager Shawn's attitude will turn extremely sour, knowing he is missing out on making big bucks off the knowledgeable. Shop around if you are looking to get repairs for your car, there are places with much cheaper prices and friendlier interactions. If there was one positive about this place, it'd be that there diagnosis skills are fairly accurate.

I have been a regular customer for 5 years. I have been around different car shops until I found Midas here in Richmond. This shop has saved me a lot of money and worries. Shawn and the whole crew are very honest and hardworking people. Keep up the good work!

I had a great experience at Midas. I was on my way from the Vancouver airport to Kelowna with all my family when I noticed a weird sound coming from the rear tires. I didn't want to go on the road with an unknown issue so I brought the car to Midas. It was late afternoon but they were able to accommodate me, and diagnose and fix the issue so that I could continue with my trip safely. Great service!

Thoroughly explains to you what was done to the vehicle and only recommends what is necessary. He works in the customers best interests; no unnecessary upsales. Definitely my new go to auto shop.

My car has been serviced by this Midas shop for over five years. Their service is very professional, fast. The price is reasonable, and there is no random charging phenomenon. Most importantly, the location is excellent, the service time is long, and the shopkeeper and maintenance personnel have a very good service attitude! I will always be here for car maintenance and repairs.

The staff here was very helpful and friendly. Very prompt , straight forward and EFFICIENT . I went here for just a simple light bulb replacement. Unlike, other shops that tried to charge me $200. The staff here changed it for me at a VERY reasonable price. I did not feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a girl and know nothing about car maintenance. I would definitely be back and and would get all my cars serviced here.
