Ami Tea & Sub (Chinatown)
Noticed this place on our way to eat lunch somewhere else during the week, but the Happy Hour $5 sub and $3.50 bubble tea signs caught our attention. Happy Hour is from 10 - noon and 3 pm - 6 pm. This place definitely should be way busier! Super good deal, place was really nice and had modern decor, sub and bubble tea was delicious. Even without happy hour, noticed that the prices were very reasonable and better than other places in the city.

This is a very clean and renovated place that serves great subs! If you get their mug, you can get 20% off your drink. I love that there's options with pate, it's not very popular, so I'm glad to see it on the menu. The slightly pickled vegetables are great, and so are the drinks. Service is very friendly and polite, they even bring the food to you! However, service is slow, and the tables are always covered in crumbs.Otherwise, this is an excellent place to enjoy a relaxing, quiet meal by yourself or with company. I highly recommend their milk coffee or their fresh taro milk. Hopefully their pricing and quality doesn't change, I'd love to keep coming back!

I've been to Ami Tea twice now and I've tried a few different things on the menu. While the subs are a great value during their happy hour I probably wouldn't get the beef sate one again. It got quite soggy and the bun was rather dry and denser than other places. I've had the pearl milk tea and although the pearls are nice and soft they lacked any taste and could stand to be sweetened. I've also tried the taro black sugar pearl and the pearls were great but the taro drink itself was gritty so it ruined the whole drink and I had to throw it out. The ami kumquat is the only drink that I've tried that was really good. At 70% sweet it was the perfect sweetness and super refreshing. So in summary I think this place has potential but they need to work on some of their recipes.

It very underrated and the price is right. The flavors on the bubble tea are not as natural as other places in the same area. Think they be using a lot of flavored sugar syrups. Very good and will definitely be back to try some subs and other goodies the offer. Also there is a happy hour!! 3.50 daily drink specials

Great location right at Chinatown! I ordered Oreo Macchiato Milk Tea and definitely loved it. The food is amazing too. Make sure you order Vietnamese Barbecue Sub on your next visit. The pork was flavorful and their pickled carrots were very fresh and really helped enhance the flavors. Definitely gonna visit again to try all of their sub menu.

So delicious fruity drink. Its taste is the best in cow town. Ami Mango is strongly recommended. Pearls and magic boba here are so yummy. Service is always wonderful and the lineup serves quickly. My best choice ever!

Always enjoy a great time at Ami Tea. It's definitely for the young and ambitious folks. Summer should be with a bit busier for the rare chance that we come in with less people in the store and getting place in the new decorative room. Ami Panda is one of the best I've ever had for Black Sugar Series. Strongly recommend this place!

The selection ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are so many options at Ami Tea. I’ve only had two; Mango smoothie and Ami Panda (pictured) but both were very good and I would definitely get again. I’ve also had the beef and chicken banh mi, which are $5 during happy hour (10am-12pm and 3pm-6pm) and very fresh and flavourful. I did takeout but the sit down decor is very welcoming. My favourite bubble tea place in Calgary!

Really great bubble tea flavours and jellies! Wide assortment and I really love the Ami Tiger and Ami Bunny as well as the watermelon! Although, we feel that we need to ask for less sugar because they are a little sweet (been here twice). There's have a sub waiting for us that we cant wait to try still :) overall, great place! Atmosphere is really nice and I think I'll try studying here.

Ami Tea & Sub (Chinatown)
Ordered the sub special and an iced coffee. I found that both were quite average at best. Service was slow and they actually forgot to prepare the sub I ordered and needed a reminder. I most likely wouldn’t visit this location as there are better spots where you can get a Viet sub, ice coffee and/or bubble tea in close proximity.
