This is a wonderful, quaint coffee shop (a real gem) that offers homemade pastries that are to die for - hand made chocolates, fresh sandwiches, fresh (substantial) salads, AND they even have the quintessential British style “Afternoon Tea” (Canadian's incorrectly call it High Tea) - a perfect blend of delicious treats and sophistication that are seriously worth trying (trust me, we're British and it's fabulous!). We ordered the Mont Blanc cake (which you have to order 24 hours in advance) - you will NOT be disappointed. The owner is quite clearly an award winning pastry chef yet this coffee shop offers a very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy an array of teas & coffees, or a healthy/tasty lunch, or a tasty sweet treat that leaves you wanting to go back and sample more of the delights. This really is a gem in amongst downtown St. Albert that has a lot to offer. Don’t take our word for it - give it a try.

Cute little place, lost a star simply due to the menu being near impossible to see, it’s up high on the wall and is a mirror with dry erase marker on it, the light reflecting on it made it hard to see for me. I went for lunch and a treat, would probably stick to the sweets from now on if I go back as the food I got for lunch was not my thing, may be someone else’s so I’d still recommend it. I must mention it was good service from the cashier though.

Wonderful oasis of elegance. Great place to sit, relax, and enjoy delicious coffee. The store is beautifully decorated, has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and they make amazingly delicious French pastries.They also offer options and items for marking special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and baby showers as well. We've ordered two cakes and both have been visually impressive and truely delicious.

This has duchess vibes but alas, it does not quite measure up to the beloved bake shop. The lovely server M&G warms up the desserts in a microwave. I had to stop her. What a way to cheapen the quality of the food. The mini apple turnover was lovely. The pear pastry was ok. I don't think it was made today. Flavour was a bit bland. Lovely atmosphere but not sure I will return. Duchess is worth the longer drive I'd say.

I went there on my Sunday walk. The place has a comfy French style atmosphere. Therefore, I was in a mood for some coffe with chocolate croissant for dessert. Alas, my expectation of authentic French bakery fell shortCroissant was very stale, probably few days old. Maybe warming it up at least revive some of its flavor, but I was never asked nor did I feel compelled to ask after I took my first bite.

Wonderful spot to come while you are strolling through the picturesque downtown of St. Albert. I live in Edmonton, but this area in central Alberta is always one of my favourite areas to walk. A great location, and delicious macarons! Highly recommend!

Mushroom soup is delicious, I order it every time. I live the add in nuts and fruit. Grilled chicken sandwich was good today too. Macarons are fabulous.

A very quaint little place with limited seating. Visited here for coffee the first time and coffee and lunch the second time. There are many choices of coffees and teas and their lunch menu has a nice variety of sandwiches and quiche and they also have a daily special. Unfortunately their menu mirror was not updated until we ordered from it so it did change our order choices. Many of the desserts are unique and they are a bit expensive but for a treat, worth the visit.

Beautiful place for High Tea! The sandwiches and sweets were delicious! The food and decor all looked beautiful and it was a really great experience! Our server was very accommodating and pleasant.The regular high tea was about $100 for the two of us. You'd have to call ahead to reserve a spot. They also have a gluten-free option and a chocolate high tea option.All in all, a wonderful experience and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
