The rice is extremely good. Not too greasy but not dry. Just right. And I've had that experience multiple times. The Sambusa is amazing. Lamb is juicy and seasoned well. Suqaar is very good. Overall, I really like the food here. And a banana is always mandatory.

Food was excellent!I got the lamb shoulder. The meal started with a nice lentil soup. The lamb shoulder was so tender and flavourful.The rice was very delicious. It also came with a nice crisp salad. The amount of food was so much!! I'm surprised i finished it all in one sitting. Apparently you can ask for more rice (and it's free). Would recommend for anyone who wants to try authentic Somalian cuisine. Make sure you're hungry before coming because the food is a lot for one sitting. Pricing was fair.

I went to Asli Dining twice in the last few months. The first time, it was around lunchtime - highly recommend. They have this awesome lamb and lentil soup served with our main course, but it sells out fast. So, the second time for dinner, we didn't get to have it again, but they brought us complimentary samosas instead. For the main course, we got the lamb, beef and chicken - all very soft meats and well-spiced. The portions are great and all the meals are just so flavorful, including the pasta and the rice. It was a pleasure at every bite. Both times the staff was very friendly, offering us extra food (tea, dessert, extra rice at no cost, soup, samosas). Such a pleasant place and delicious food. Honestly, highly recommend.

Beyond wonderful food, made by beyond wonderful people. Truly.We were leaving the home depot across the street when we could smell something delicious from the person sitting by the exit on the bench. He told where it was from and we headed straight over.Talk about yum! We had the beef suqaar with rice. It was perfection.They were so happy that we had come straight over that they have us some lamb broth to try too. Soooooo tasty!Go eat there already!

Had a fantastic experience at Asli, all the food was delicious, and the service was so welcoming. They offered us complimentary Sambusa, and sent us home with extra leftovers including the beef suqaar to try, felt like going to a friend or family's home :) Will have to go back to try out their other dishes, highly recommend this lovely restaurant!
