Came for the end of the 3rd period of the leafs game, apparently we couldn’t order a beer before O.T. The bartender and server were extremely rude for absolutely no reason and should be expecting rowdy fans looking for a beer. So we left and went to harpers landing across the street

Doesn't give the best impression when the plate looks skimpy. Upside was that the burger was alright and staff were polite.

Decent restaurant with standard bar or pub fare. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. The burger was good but nothing exceptional. The buffalo chicken poutine appetizer was fantastic and definitely recommend if you visit. The paper plane cocktail was also rather good.

Always good. Breakfast is solid. Late night menu for eats. Nice wrap around patio for warmer times. Bartenders and servers are always upbeat and friendly. Live music some nights also which is just a treat. Usually busy, esp weekends. Nice quiet booths in the back, and nice open seating in the front for either want. Normal selection of good drafts for beer.

Went there around 11.49 to grab a late breakfast . Served mimosa in drinking glass like have a proper mimosa glass to serve a drink it’s not a tiki bar a proper restaurant should have proper glasses to serves the drink they serve . Food was extremely disappointing eggs were not seasoned at all and watery , over cooked bacon , tater tots were over fried for my friend . I order breakfast burrito without bacon which was then served with a bacon and by this point we had already wait 30 min for our food . After they changed my food and even that was just tasteless the burrito fall apart just after one bite . Cheese inside was still cold from fridge absolutely tasteless I would never go again.

Good size patio, menu is small but has something for everyone, had live music on the weekends, great location, we had an amazing server, super attentive, very accommodating.

My Fiance and I came for drinks last night after the Jays game. There was a line up to get in and we were seated quickly near the restrooms. After being seated, we waited 20 minutes for someone to come take our order. We ordered 2 beers and 2 shots. We waited 40 minutes and our drinks had not arrived nor did any server come check on us or the tables near the restrooms. I ended up going to look for our server but couldn’t find him so I asked a waitress at the bar about our drinks (knowing it wasn’t her section). She said she’d bring them over to us. 20 minutes later and still no drinks. My Fiance and I got up to leave and I let the waitress at the bar know we were leaving. The manager came after us telling us she’d bring our drinks right away. We ended up receiving them however it took over an hour. The service was honestly terrible although everyone I spoke with was super nice. I understand it’s a busy Friday night and I hate leaving reviews like this but we did not have a good experience at all.

I have to admit, since the pandemic, I’ve reduced how often I go out to eat, and when I do, I choose a time and place less busy. Having a late lunch here at 2:30pm, I would have expected the service to be much better. Our server had 2 tables and didn’t seem to be interested in anything other than conversing with their fellow staff members who were clocked out and drinking at the bar. The entire atmosphere in the restaurant was as if we were interrupting employee happy hour with our patronage.I served for years , and I get it. The “over” between lunch and dinner shifts can be slow, and a time to have a more relaxed environment. But you are still seating guests, and it’s important to give them a pleasant experience by being attentive to their needs. It doesn’t Take much, just the insight to know when your table needs something. After getting my food, a quality check was done after I’d almost finished my meal. And when I was ready for the bill, it took forever for the server to finish the lengthy conversation she was now having with another staff member or manager at a table in the dining room, where the server was now casually drinking her large double/double from Tim Hortons. Once the server brought the payment machine over, and I was prompted to give a default tip of 18%, I wondered what for. Some servers treat guests as if their tip is the only salary they receive, while others like this one seemed entitled to maximum tip with minimum effort.Definitely underwhelming experience. This is meant to be constructive criticism, and I hope that management will take it to heart, that when a certain tip is expected, that the service reflects that.
