Had a great time at the zoo with the kids. They loved it. There are slides for the kids and a lot more interesting things to do. There are penguins and you can even walk with them. The flowers are so pretty reminds me of summer. Highly recommend visiting the zoo.

Had the Sunday morning brunch, it was pretty good. Very diverse brunch bar with omelet station, pastries, salads, and desserts.Zoo was well done. Saw most of the animals. Our favorite exhibits were the Wild Canada and penguin exhibits. The mountain lions, black bears, and grizzly bears were all out and about. Especially the black bears, they played like puppies and then jumped in the pond! Very entertaining.

This zoo is wonderful. It is very large. We walked so much. The animals have lots of space and there are many zoo keepers and volunteers around to make sure the animals are taken care of. There are also additional things to manage foot traffic and crowds.

The Calgary Zoo is an absolute delight for animal lovers and nature enthusiasts. With its expansive grounds and diverse collection of wildlife, it offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. From majestic lions to playful penguins, each exhibit showcases the beauty and diversity of the animal kingdom. The zoo's commitment to conservation and education is evident throughout, as they provide informative displays and engaging presentations. The well-maintained habitats and interactive experiences create a sense of immersion, allowing visitors to connect with the animals on a deeper level. The Calgary Zoo is a must-visit destination that combines entertainment, education, and appreciation for the wonders of the animal world. I think my favourite is the baby gorilla it’s so cute!

Always a wonderful adventure! The penguin enclosure is super fun; you can get super close to them and see them outdoors, inside, and underwater. The entire zoo itself is organized into different zones (Asia, Africa, Canadian Wildlife, Butterflies, Dinosaur trail etc.) There are always employees and/or volunteers to help you with map directions or give you interesting info about various animals. I highly recommend the fathers day brunch! It's a fabulous meal & zoo admission at a great price!

Compared the vancouver zoo, this zoo was wayyyy better. Having the penguins habitat at the entry is a great way to kick off the presentation and just tells you how thoroughly they designed the zoo. The only thing we couldn’t see was the snow leopard. The play area was an awesome addition!

Today I had the opportunity to visit this zoo with my family and had a great time there. Amazing locations, cleanliness and well-groomed animals, a lot of free space, which is so necessary for children. My children were very happy to visit the characters of the cartoon Madagascar. I recommend it and don't forget to pay for parking!)

Its a very large zoo. A very good spot to go with family and children. The most exciting things are penguins which i saw for the first time. Apart from penguin , a large land is turned into prehistoric replica which is again very amazing.

This was a really enjoyable experience. Great habitats for all the different animals, and a great variety. The gardens and butterfly house were exceptional too. We would have paid to see them on their own. So much shade, plenty of places to eat or picnic, many playgrounds and kid friendly exhibits. We caught the train from downtown. Very easy and quick.
