Lucille's Classic Dining Restaurant

Food was delicious. The ratings are a total injustice. Definitely not a 3 stars restaurant. We had fish and chips, wings and a salad. Fish fries were amazing, even the normal fries were good. The wings were splendid too.Waiter was friendly and sweet.

The quality of food was beyond 5 stars we ordered mozzarella sticks, jerked chicken and fish & chips. This is a restaurant I will forsure go back too not to mention the staff was quick and friendly can't beat a family run business.

Had a very mediocre lunch at Lucille's today. We were the only people there when we arrived.(one party checking out) The food still took 35 minutes to arrive (one hamburger & one boasted chicken order).The fries tasted like they where cooked in the same oil as the chicken. The chicken came with a side dish of jerk (?) sauce as well as a small smattering of romaine with no dressing, I assume to simply fill the plate. The chicken was greasy but my son did say that his burger was good (despite the funny tasting fries). The waitress did not bother to check & ask if our meal was okay. We are local year round & like to dine out. At Lucille's though? - no way. Once was more than enough.

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Our waitress, who was in no hurry to assist any of the diners, eventually got to our table handed us menus and asked us if this was separate checks or together. Separate we said. She takes our drink orders and shows up 15 minutes later with a beer with the top still on (not a twist off), no glass and a diet coke...again no glass, no ice. Had to wait another 5 minutes for her to bring a bottle opener. Already I'm miffed.We both ordered the frying pan nachos with chicken. After waiting an excruciatingly long time for our order, she brings my nachos first and my friends order about 5 minutes later. The nachos were awful. $16.99 for nacho chips, processed cheese, diced tomatoes, onions and yellow bell peppers, no spices, not seasoned....and no chicken. When I asked where is the chicken, she clearly forgot to add chicken to the order. She said I'll be right back and I'll bring you chicken for your nachos. She never came back to our table. My beer was empty...she never asked if I wanted another, she never asked if I wanted water. Twice we asked for the bill and she ignored us. Finally I got her attention and asked for the bill yet again and she tells us to go inside to the counter. Wth kind of system is this? The guy at the register had 12 bills in front of him asking what I had and of course he can't find it because the waitress put everything on one bill.The food was awful and overpriced, the atmosphere was okay, but the service was literally the worst I've ever experienced. This woman should not be working in the service industry. She clearly dislikes her job and puts no effort into her work to ensure her customers are looked after. Will never return to Lucilles.

Found this place completely by chance and what a fabulous find it was! Best fish and chips I've had in years. Light, crisp batter and a house made tartar sauce that was a welcome change. Others in my party sampled the jerk chicken and jerk burger with stellar success. Everyone said it was one of the best meals they'd had.

Pretty decent food, fries were really crispy, good seasoning. Burger was kinda small. Overall pricey for the portion size.The service was pretty mediocre. She got the order next to our table wrong. She didn't really ask what we wanted to eat. Took my dad's order then started to walk away before I ordered mine.Has an awkward feeling and there are better options around.

The food was delicious. We ordered the chicken roti, fish and chips, wings and summer salad. French fries were really good! The patio is nice but inside dinning is less then ideal. I think renovations are in the works. Kitchen closes at 8pm.

The family and I decided to stop in for lunch. After walking in we should’ve turned around and went somewhere else but as I’ve learned some of the best food I’ve had are in these small Ma and Pa restaurants. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case with this one the waitress was rude and had the nerve to tell my aunt to make up their mind. The food was overpriced and unfortunately was not Great either. The establishment was not the cleanest got the feeling they were doing renovations but did not see any going on anywhere When I said something at the end about our experience they said well you have to bear with us we’ve been closed for two years that does not excuse the service that we received and would not recommend this at all.

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about trying the food after seeing a relatively low rating in google. After trying the food, all my doubts went away! The food was fresh and delicious! The front desk lady who also is the server is the sweetest human ever! The backyard/patio has such a nice cozy vibe! Would definitely try their fish and chips again!

We wanted to eat fish and chips near harbor but it was super crowded, so chose Tobermory downtown , and I am glad we did. The food is really delicious and super fresh. The staffs were cordial. Washrooms were clean. It was not crowded so pretty chill. They have patio and bar. I will definitely come here whenever I am in Tobermory.
