Seymour Medical Clinic

This was the best walk-in clinic experience I have had in Vancouver. I have gone to several other clinics over the years and had bad-decent experiences. Seymour Medical Clinic is very clean and organized. The staff are kind and great at their jobs. This is where I will be going from now on.

People, please read the reviews before going there. It does not deserve even One star let alone 3! It is one of the worst places I have ever seen in my entire life! It has a terrible client care system! We went there today, were asked to wait in line before another 4 patients, then after 30 minutes it is our turn, so we go in. There is a nurse who examines" us and sends us to the reception to register! Should one be registered first and then do the wait and examine?!! So far 35 minutes pass. We register after 35 minutes and being seen by a nurse to be told "please come back after one hour"!!!!! It boils down to wasting 40 minutes of our time to tell us to come back in an hour. After one and a half hours

Don’t waste your time coming here…..I Came in to the clinic, blank slate no option formed, just wanted my finger looked at; I made reference to the referral from the Seymour medical centre, the 3 desk attendants said they’ve never heard of it… I replied that’s surprising since the referral came from there you have the same clinic name and they’ve been in business longer then this place. (Pointing out I know cause I lived around the corner for 20years).Well I was then told I shouldn’t be so rude…. Wow. Had to defend my statement of my knowledge of the area, and that young girls/ not women sitting behind a clinic counter, one would think they should have the basic knowledge of the clinics sending them clients especially with the same name and only 5min from this location.It’s sad the this is the kind of Reception to get as a first time user.I waited 40min, saw no one, left went to VGH.Enough one wants to make sure this is a reflection of the 4star bs rating on their google review.

This place is a total mess…making patients wait is their love language like i asked for referral so i can see specialist. it’s been over 4months nothing happened, no call, no follow up. i know Canadian medical system is bad already and that’s why all the good and smart docs and nurses choose to go to US so we left with bunch of inadequate ones it’s getting worse and worse and it is way faster and better if i just go back to Korea i can see a specialist right away and I probably would do that at this point…this is ridiculous how the system is not working at all.

Unfortunately I had to visit that clinic for the second time this year. But I went back to that one because the staff is really nice. Yes you have to come early as it’s a walk-in clinic but I have been treated with respect both time. Nurse and doctors take the time to listen to you, ask questions, make sure you understand everything - found a professional service without judgment or being in a rush. Very convenient to have a lab and pharmacy on site if you need to do some blood test and get prescription. Both time the clinic was calling me back after they got results from the labs and make sure I got my treatment. I haven’t been to any other walk-in clinic in town but I’d recommend that one for sure.4 stars because they messed up my lab samples today because it’s an holiday and lab was not able to process it.

I'm super grateful to have Justina Morris as my NP! I have been seeing her for about a year and she has consistently been an amazing practitioner. I had a weird year with mental and physical health & she always listened to me and was/is super supportive. I couldn't have gotten through the year without her care :) And the other members of her team were always super accommodating and communicative with me.

The staff was amazing and the whole process only took me around 2.5 hours. I did a chest X-ray and I only waited for 20 minutes. The pharmacy was also next door so I could get my meds right after. I suggest being there at least 10-15 minutes before 8 am to line up.

Waited 3 hours to see a nurse practitioner straight out of school who had no idea what she was doing. She took some unnecessary tests then didn't call me to give me the results, had to come back in two weeks later to get the results while my condition had continued to worsen. Saw a real doctor a few days later who quickly determined what my issue was and prescribed medication.You're just wasting your time here.

I just went to the walking clinic and I have a pleasant experience. Yes, there is a long wait and you have to be prepare for that. But the nurses are very nice and helpful. The Dr was very nice and listen with attention my concerns. Overall I get the service that I need.

I have used this clinic a few times and was pretty happy with the care. Once when urgent I was seen immediately by a very good doctor and was given great care by the nursing team. Once non-urgent I was seen by what I can only assume is a junior doctor and had a mediocre experience.
