Crescent Heights Medical Centre

Every time I’ve ever come here it has been by appointment and I have never waited less then an hour. What is the point of making an appointment if I’m going to have to wait for an hour. I leave work early for these appointments and they waste my time. If they are running behind they should be calling clients to inform them. My time is just as valuable as anyone else’s but they sure don’t seek to think so. The doctor we see is great but as side from him the place is completely disorganized and reception staff are rude. Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have no other options.

It’s 6pm on a Tuesday. Work was crazy, I didn’t have a moment to stop and eat a bite of food. I’m starving and racing to get home. I stop in the place of Crescent Heights Medical Centre to grab a sandwich from Subway.Subway has two designated parking spots. This medical centre has about 15. The clinic is closed, so I figure “I’m sure the clinic - which is closed for the evening - won’t mind me parking here for five minutes to grab a sandwich”.I come out only to find a grumpy man who works for the clinic standing in the window (this man was wearing a white coat, standing inside the clinic) staring me down (from inside) for parking in one of their designated spots. Sir, you are closed. Let the lady grab a sandwich. Be a good neighbor.

Absolutely lovely clinic. People just complain because they have no patience. Dr. Salman was great and the staff was great. Thank you to the Crescent Heights Medical Centre team!

Happy with my walk in experience with this clinic. Have this pain on my right wrist for 5 weeks and I didn’t have to wait for 10 minutes when I got accommodated and seen by the doctor. Also, the doctor was quick to diagnose my complaint and gave the appropriate prescription and diagnostic imaging request. He was also patient answering all my queries.

Not great experience at this clinic today. I waited over 1.5 hours during which several other walk-in patients were seen ahead of me. I asked for an explanation and it was due to the booking system trying to keep walk-ins even between the doctors. So it’s for their benefit not Patients . When the doctor arrived, he was cold and distracted. He left the room afterwards and left my file open on the computer for anyone or the next patient to see. 0/10 would not recommend.

I never had any issues with this place. I have been seeing doctor Ogona for over a year, she is always kind and listens to me. The front desk is busy yes but their phone rings every second. I never waited more than 30 minutes. They care about their patients and that is what is important.

The waiting times could definitely improve, and they could have small exams being made locally. Maybe even have some sort of partnership to provide patients with some services beyond the consultation, like blood collection and ultrasound? Even x-ray machines are quite portable these days, so they could offer a range of services to complement the consultation and save people's time.

Front Staff actually allow walk in patients to leave and come back after awhile when the wait times are long, which is awesome! But one shouldn't ask them to call or text when it's time to call back. I overheard a couple of other walk in patients asking for this, and the staff felt super badly for saying no, but come on, the staff are overwhelmed. I appreciated how open they are about the provincial cutbacks to healthcare (photos attached), and how much nice artwork they also have in their facility (photos also attached). Faris Mohammad is a great doctor who instantly knew what was wrong and helped me out super fast, and now I've recovered four times as fast as he said I would (2 days versus 8 days!!). They also have some wall plug ins in the waiting area. Super nice that they're open for partial hours on Saturday. Will come back if I need to!

I came as a walk in and Dr Salman saw me. Easy to talk to,.listened..then I came back as an apt and even though internet was down I was seen pretty close to my apt time. Ladies up front were great! Dr was thorough and again listened to me. Got me a federal and a note. I'm very happy with the whole appointment. Just a note for anyone..if you need a letter bring cash, that's all they take. There is a cash machine in the building but charges $2.7!

You girls are doing your best and I observed that today. It’s worth the wait for me. Reception is always helpful for me and my doctor is bomb. Plus the other ones there. People can complain or they can go to the hospital and wait 13 hours. Those are the options. I count my blessings. Thank you for being amazing!
