We fostered two lovely dogs for nearly two years. they were exactly as advertised, a healthy elderly, bonded pair of small dogs and they were adopted by a very nice lady in July 2020. We fostered a puppy the following January, and after several months with us we decided to adopt her! Everything went as smoothly as could be. We received all her records and she was spayed. We are now looking at fostering again so she can share all her living with hoomans tricks with another pupper.

Awesome experience!I got my first dog with them 9 years ago but it didn't work out due to the foster they previously got it from (from California) did not disclose the correct information and we had to surrender him back to the rescue. They spent the next 2 months keeping us in mind and found us our wonderful dog, who is now my service dog!We recently adopted another dog, who is wonderful. The experience in general has been amazing!

I was a foster parent for these people and we were fostering a pup who was a “difficult dog”. Turns out he had been in several foster homes before us, and no one was given any resources to help this dog. When we asked for some sort of assistance, we were told to “figure it out “ with the implied notion that if we couldn’t handle him he would be euthanized. We felt bad for Moose and we wanted to do everything we could for him so we foster failed him into our home out of guilt. We love this dog, we took the time with him , the biting , the fighting, the aggression.. we got that out of him. He is now the cuddliest dog in our family. This organization would not do this for him, they were looking for a quick buck because he was a German Shepherd . If you want a positive experience, I suggest going to ARCS or ARF for helping animals in need.

I adopted a dog here, the doggie is amazing.HOWEVER I would give 0 star to this rescue and the responsible people here if I could. Before adoption, response was fast and people were nice. After adoption and that they got paid, it is impossible to get hold of anyone! They promised that if we do not proceed with their vet for the surgery, they would give us a credit of $200 to our own vet for the surgery. I have filled out the form they gave me for the credit, and I have informed them the appointment date and my vet info, after 2 months, there is no reposonse at all! The first email I sent to them was in January, now it's March, I still receive no answer from them. I keep on following up every week, but no luck at all. It's HORRIBLE! Don't trust anything these people say!

Started out as a Foster and fell in love with my pup, he is absolutely amazing! HOWEVER, the Rescue themselves is another story, the lack of communication, the promise that the medical team would send me his medical records within 30days after I sent in my payment and its been months and I still have not received anything. I have called, emailed, messaged my admin, left comments on fb and am getting ignored. I paid my adoption fee and am entitled to my dogs medical records. EVERYONE I have spoken too has also had a difficult time getting their records. This is unacceptable, and I require the work for insurance, which I am only looking out for my pup, but you can't even send an email???

Such a fabulous experience adopting our beautiful dog. The organization is entirely volunteer run and you can tell they're swamped with dogs needing homes. It's so fantastic these people are so dedicated to to helping dogs in need. It was such an easy experience from finding our boy Toby (formerly Rascal) on Facebook and bringing him home.We had some specifications about our new dog needing to be cat friendly, & he must have come from an amazing foster family because his manners are exquisite and he's so gentle with our cats.He came fully vaccinated and neutered (they gave us all his paperwork in a timely fashion)Will be using this foundation again if we ever decide to get Toby a doggy friend.

I too was skeptical about EJ when first researching rescues due to the last reviews but it seems that they have made a very great effort to turn things around. We went with them because our family member also got their puppy there and had a good experience. We adopted our beautiful Border Collie Mix pup last month and she is perfect, exactly what we wanted! After taking her to our own vet for a check up we were happy to learn she was very healthy! Communication was pretty good throughout the process, I always kept in mind that I was dealing with very busy volunteers. We received our vaccine and spay appointment fairly quick and even got her medical records earlier than expected. I would recommend friends or family to rescue from EJ. The only thing I would note is that their adoption fee is quite a bit steeper than most other rescues, our pup's fee was $750. And be prepared to ask your questions or follow up multiple times.

So sad reading these fake bad reviews from the same people multiple times. I don't understand why they want to destroy a place helping so many dogs that other places won't!My girlfriend and I have fostered for EJ, my mom volunteers. I have met several dogs through EJ(see some attached pics), I have taken dogs to the vet for them, walked dogs, been at the daycare a few times. They love the dogs, and the dogs love them! That would not happen if they weren't well taken care of.We also adopted our Mexican rescue and got all the vet records in a couple of weeks. I would choose this rescue time and time again.

We have adopted two dogs from EJ Rescue. One of our two pooches was adopted 9 years ago, while the other was recently adopted in April. Our experience has been nothing but Amazing and Positive! Trina and EJ are wonderful people with big hearts! Without them we would not have our fur babies and for that I am forever grateful! Both our dogs are happy and healthy living the spoiled life of a rescue dog. We support and we will continue to support their rescue!

You have to have patience. As with all the rescue places it is volunteer run and it takes time. We got medical records at 4 weeks. We got them and that is what counts.Molly is a sweetheart and she has come along way in 4 weeks. She is a wonderful addition to our family and the sister our pup Luna needed.Don’t worry about the rescue, pay attention to the dog you are interested in.
