Great food and a great restaurant with great service. They provide cloth table, napkins and cloth tablecloth’s. The chicken Parmesan special at $30 was a good deal because it was a huge serving. The spaghetti with meat sauce was a little dry and could’ve used more tomato sauce. The salads and lemon chicken soup we’re good. Service by Cheri was very good.

Omg!! The place was packed when we arrived,was pleasantly surprised to be seated within a 15 minute time frame.The food was amazing!! I ordered the Greek Platter and it did not disappoint!! My husband ordered the Lasagne and was also loved it!! For refreshments" we ordered a pitcher of Pineapple Sangria

This is my parents' favourite restaurant for good reason. We just ordered them supper in from Taverna for their 65th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely phenomenal. Taverna went above and beyond - huge portions, amazing quality and piece of cake to commemorate the occasion. Very nice gesture and they so appreciated it - they raved about it!

I didn't know this place even existed and i live in St. James until a friend told me! Myself, wife and neighbours went there for dinner a little while ago. We had pretty burgers and poutine and other small items. The food was great and quantity and size and quality was awesome, our server Jackie was fantastic and extremely helpful!Decided to go there last weekend on Saturday again with the neighbours, showed up, the place was packed and lots of people waiting but unfortunately we did not reserve(didn't think of reserving) so we decided to wait about half an hour instead of going somewhere else as this was our second time and we were impressed by our first visit. The lady who assisted the people at the front was awesome and organized even though the place was full! We were sat down after a 7:15pm reservation cancelled. Decided to try Greek food, got the ribs entree, wife got the souvlaki platter and the lemon rice soup. Neighbours ordered similar dishes. We were so impressed! I asked our server Anne for recommendation and glad she recommended the ribs as it was very delicious! Anne was awesome and always checked on us even though she was busy. Love the food, the atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable for sure. Will always go back! Keep up the great work :)

Fish and chips were adequate. Frozen fish wasn't the best. Deluxe hamburger was not good. Beef was full of filler and did not taste good. The buns were not of good quality. I don't like posting this review but just trying to help out the restaurant....hopefully they'll take a look at what I said.

$$ Went here for lunch and easily found a place to be seated. Within 30 minutes the place was buzzing. Food was good, service was prompt and the atmosphere was comfortable.

BIG portions--other reviewers were not exaggerating when they wrote that. Overall the food was delicious. The tatziki was a bit too lemony and the raw chopped onion on the calamari was off-putting. The moussaka was good but a bit too much cinnamon. The lemon rice soup was surprisingly tasty. The Lamb chops were tasty as were the mushrooms that accompanied them. Our server was friendly and the place was cozy.

We went here for a large family meal after our wedding. The service was fast and accurate, everyone was very friendly and the staff were accommodating to our last minute request. Don’t eat anything before coming here because they give you a very nice portion of food. The clubhouse sandwich was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals!

Went here for my b day dinner, first time and we be going back. The server was friendly but she was not very up on the menu. We ordered and the food came quick and it was delicious. The lemon rice soup is best I have had. The servings are massive. Like no way I had a chance to finish my Greek Platter and the other diner had the club house and could not finish either. They have me a b day dessert to take home which they totally did not have to do. So will be going back. The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting. This place is a gem.
