Social Security Administration

Not all of them are bad here but I will tell you this they are not working for you. They are working against you and if you went to one Social Security office and you had a problem, they are working together they do not want to hear nothing they’re going to send you out of there or hang up Your phone appointment on you They get real sassy with you and then when you talk sassy back you are being disrespectful and which I believe respect goes both ways. I don’t care if I don’t have a job you’re still going to respect me. Love you guys I hope this helps someone stay strong. God is with us.

I know that people are short staff and over work but 4 hrs in 2 day's and still can't get a answer come on now no one is that busy

The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Especially Ms H, she made our experience stress free and enjoyable

I spoke to Mrs. Taylor.This woman was so Patient, Professional, and Concerned about my issue and she sent me the info requested!It really surprised me. I literally Thank God!

Very professional staff and specialists at this office. I have visited this office on numerous occasions for myself and my Ma (Grandmother) over many years and have consistently received excellent customer service, correct information, precise instructions and prompt processing. I have never experienced ANY of the issues that I have read about from customer reviews with various other Social Security branch offices in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties.Additionally, the wait times are fair for the complexity of each persons situation and the various services offered. The security here is respectful and in tune with the office, the customers and the surroundings as well.This particular Connor Ave. U.S. Social Security Administration offices' Best Practices should be used at Social Security offices across the State of Michigan. The staff and specialists are a jewel on Detroit's Eastside!

Some of the reps who work here get too hostile. I guess they're use to people being rude to them but when you're not a rude person there is no need to be rude back especially if you just have questions and need understanding about certain issues. It's not that serious. Don't want to answer customer's questions you need to be in another field of work because customer service isn't for you.

My purse was stolen I went to get my social security card for my new job,The lady with the braids at window 6 wouldn't give me anything showing proof that I applied for it..smh..She was rude..I had to go across 8mile to get what I needed, Detroit employees are lazy and not willing to help you..smh..I will go to the suburbs to handle my businessfor now on...smh..Just sad.

Best SSA office ever..From security to representatives. Everyone was friendly & efficient.. spent less than 30 min. Mrs. Taylor was wonderful and provided me with excellent customer service.
