I was worried at first about what it would be like. It was completely painless, I wasn’t condescended or treated like I was a bad person for having been put in situations out of my control having led me to having to use their services. I felt very comfortable working with my trustee and even years later when I got letters when I shouldn’t have or ones that I was confused about because they were written odd I was able to just call and get clarification. I would recommend anything you’ve thought in the past about declaring bankruptcy or making a consumer proposal is likely nothing like you thought. It’s so easy and painless and then you can start moving forward.

I made payments every month for a year the staff was great but I wanted to pay it off earlier but every time I was in Barrie no one was in the office but I think it's because of covid I don't know. I checked my credit and it doesn’t show those creditors with the exception of 1 which I am working on getting removed because it shouldn't be there. I got a secured credit card right away and my credit score is already excellent. I just paid my last payment and they were prompt at sending me my completion certificate. Really excited for my fresh start.
