Dr. Andrea is AMAZING! She has helped me and my two children tremendously throughout the past 8 years, from birth to adolescence. From tricky iron absorption issues to viscous skin struggles and on to asthma support she has been a true life-saver. She listened to us, we never felt rushed, and she always had suggestions to help us within the boundaries of what we were willing to cope with. I love how she supported my decisions whether they were within the medical or natural community - I was never judged. She single-handidly changed the way our family manages our health and for that I am forever grateful. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Dr Carr literally brought my Grandmum back from a delirium that we never thought she would return from. I visited Althea Wellness in October of 2021 with hopes to learn more about why I was experiencing terrible, hormonal acne as an adult! Prior to my appointment with Dr.Carr I was prescribed accutane from my family doctor, I took accutane for 6 months and didn’t notice any improvements with my acne. This left me feeling helpless as I felt like accutane was my last attempt to clear my acne. Upon visiting Dr.Carr (after completing 6 months of accutane prescribed by a different doctor) I learned that I may be suffering from a hormonal imbalance! This was my first time being told that perhaps hormones could be contributing to my adult acne! After an in depth appointment with Dr.Carr she suggested we try balancing my hormones with hopes of improving my acne. We made a course of action that day to start re-balancing my hormones through supplements (over the course of 3 months). After 1 month of taking the supplements I was already experiencing clearer, less active acne! What a sigh of relief! I continued the supplements for an additional 2 months and have lived acne free ever since!!!! I can’t thank Dr.Carr enough for helping restore my confidence + fixing the root problem rather than masking it! I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Carr and her clinic!

Dr Carr, takes her time with each patient. She is caring and comforting by getting to the bottom of each issue and doing the best she can to resolve them. Dr. Carr is 360 amazing!Tanya the receptionist is awesome too.

Dr. Andrea Carr is an amazing naturopathic doctor, who has given me the best possible care for the past 5 years. She has treated my digestive issues, uterine prolapse, pneumonia, and lingering Covid-19 symptoms. Recently, she helped me clear my plugged ears. She will go out of her way to give the best possible care, even giving me a drop-in consult at the end of her week! She is extremely positive and has given me hope when I was discouraged by other medical advice or lack of service. It’s such a comfort to know that I have a practitioner in my corner, in days of stress and uncertainty.

Dr. Carr deserves more than 5 stars! She is truly an amazing Naturopathic doctor. She is attentive, caring, and so knowledgeable. I have been seeing her for over five years now, and she has always known how to help me. I know that I can trust her with my health and that I am getting the best care with her! There have been times when my medical doctor has not known what to do, and I have felt so thankful that I have someone to go to like Dr. Carr. From balancing hormones to healing from a year long struggle with mono, to other health struggles, Dr. Carr has helped me find healing and health. Dr. Carr, Tanya and her team are absolutely amazing!!! My physician has passed and Dr. Carr has gone above and beyond for myself and my family. I feel heard, supported and treated like family. I truly can't say enough amazing things about Dr.Carr. She has been my doctor for years and now I take my daughters to her as well.
