Tarek, we both know that you failed in your professional engineering responsibilities - you specified the bare minimum, did not verify your calculations nor perform the proper software modelling, and the list goes on, but ultimately when you were presented with the problem, you did not even try to work with us to come up with a viable solution. Your customer services skills are severely lacking and you should be ashamed to use your engineering seal.Despite the court’s dismissal on a technicality, the truth remains as follows:- You admitted that you never tested the span on the required manufacturer’s software- You admitted you were not current on your knowledge about the structural TJI beam you specified- Our expert engineer DID demonstrate in his report where you went wrong in your calculations- The manufacturer even wrote a letter indicating that you should have specified a stiffer beam- Our construction manager & framing contractor questioned your design and attempted to upgrade it (unfortunately, even that was not enough)- You lied in court about doing any testing on the floor when you finally agreed to see the bouncy floor in personOnce again the bottom line is that you failed in your professional responsibilities as a structural engineer.Be careful of this engineering firm!
