Brent was excellent! We only had him paint this time, however plan on having him back for more projects. Impeccable painting job and he left the place spotless afterwards. :)))

We are very happy with the quality of Brent's work. He educated us on the different grades of paint and why selecting a top graded paint will make a difference while lasting for years to come. Brent has a focus on doing the job right and made sure that we were both completely satisfied with all his work. He repaired all of the damaged drywall and paint defects from the previous contractor prior to starting to paint. He even took the time to remove all the doors and hardware to ensure that he could have the best end result. He also assembled some furniture and mounted some of art work for us. Our New Home looks amazing now...Thank You Brent!!!

We are very happy with the work Brent did for us. He put in a three-piece bathroom in our basement. We had lots of surprises buried in the walls and floor of our 80 year old home. Brent at Van Loon Carpentry has completed a number of large and small projects for me in my last two houses and his work is outstanding. He has completely remodelled a basement, built beautiful 8ft oversized sliding doors for my condo office, constructed and built a full height integrated TV and fireplace, as well as a variety of other small projects. He is trustworthy, responsive and the quality of work is very high.

We undertook a major renovation in the Fall of 2020 which we contracted with Brent. He did an excellent job; the quality of workmanship is considerably above average and exceeded our expectations. There were no hidden costs or cost escalation during the 2 month job. He was professional, easy to work with, and showed great care for our home and kept the site clean and organized throughout the renovation. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him.
