Viva Orthodontics

Been here for braces and lots of work since I was a kid. Dr. Hodder is great but a few of their receptionists are very belittling and don't follow requests of confidentiality. I requested multiple times for them to not notify certain guardian about appointments yet they repeatedly did so. I am adult so my guardians from when I was a child do not need to be aware of my appointments. Although the receptionists were repeatedly asked to not inform others of my appointment they would still go against my request and never apologized for the issues they caused.

The team at Viva are amazing! From the first visit, giving us truthful information and making our son feel very comfortable with getting braces. Appointment scheduling was easy, always a positive attitude by every staff member. Our family highly recommends Viva and are very grateful for all their efforts.

FYI, Dr Hodder pays for reviews through gift cards, so be wary of the high rating. My overall experience was good except for a run in with Dr Hodder towards the end of my treatment. I had a single tooth that was not tracking well that I was told they would keep an eye on and not to worry about. Suddenly I was told next appointment I would be finished and getting a retainer. When I brought up the tooth that wasn’t tracking well and that I wasn’t happy with it, Dr Hodder became quite impolite and basically said it was my fault and I could pay for more treatment if I wanted it better. My final bite also had several teeth touching and making contact. My recommendation would be to advocate early for any concerns you have, as once your payments are completed, Dr Hodder will lose her friendly demeanour. Due to this event I could not recommend Dr Hodder to anyone.

The staff is friendly. They've taken good care of me. I love seeing the progress of my braces. I enjoy their viva points. You collect them for being on time and taking care of your teeth. Then eligible for gift cards. It's a good place and I recommend.

My daughter has had her braces journey with viva Coquitlam! They have been helpful, kind, and always answer any questions and concerns I may have. I love the front desk ladies and have always been greeted with a smile.

The staff is always very polite and kind. Two of my daughters have braces with Viva and I am currently receiving Invisalign treatment. We love that we are always rewarded with viva points when we leave appointments!

I have been a patient for adult Invisalign for over a year now and I have been both impressed with my results and more importantly grateful for the team at viva orthodontics. The entire staff is so wonderful and accommodating and does incredible work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for orthodontic care!

I'm very pleased with the way my teeth look so far. My treatment was estimated for 20-22 months. It's only been 14 months so far and they look like they're pretty much fully aligned with all spaces closed up. So much progress in a short time frame!

Very happy with dr. Hodder and her team. My invisalign treatment is going as planned. Everyone is very professional and also accomodating when scheduling appointments. Highly recommended.

We have taken our three children to Dr Hodder's office and we highly recommend her orthodontics approach. The whole team is very professional and super friendly. Making sure their patients ( and parents) are comfortable. Karen in front desk, is always very accommodating when trying to find a time that is convenient for the visit and always greets us with a smile and our personal names.
