Edited after owner response:Wanted to edit this review to tell people to look at the owner's response to Putri's reviewIt seems the employee was the owner, and the owner found Google reviews to be an opportunity to be rude and belittle its customers instead of getting constructive feedback.Kicking out a customer that rightfully ate and paid for their food and drink is one red flag, but it's another red flag to not be understanding and be rude to them again.If you are reading this and you are trying to decide where to eat, I would think twice before coming here. go to scotts coffee shop instead. I have gone to thousands of cafes across the world, and this tops the list as the worst cafe.Original Review:Worst coffee shop in sault.Wanted to like this coffee shop, but alas the employees there were rude and they kick you out for studying there. I've never been kicked out of a coffee shop and this is really disappointing service. I ordered soup which was great, but this employee just killed the experience.Employee pretextually said there was a lot of people standing waiting to sit down, but there was literally no one standing...

Mane Street Cafe and Lounge
Nice patio for lunch in downtown Sault Ste Marie. Food was tasty and nicely prepared. We shared a salami sandwich and Greek quinoa salad. Our singing cheerful waitress was very pleasant. We would go back.

What a wonderful atmosphere! I absolutely love the sidewalk and parking space takeover. The inside even being fully open to the air is particularly wonderful. The staff is friendly and quick to help. SJI coffee is a big bonus. I can't wait to go back.

We asked for a cappuccino and a hot chocolate. The first was cold and tasteless, the second, i could have had at home by opening a carton of chocolate milk.

The food was good and our server was very polite and kind. The price of the food however was a bit much for a sandwich with kettle chips. They also charge 4$ for a can of Coke. If you read all the reviews on here that aren’t 5 star you will see that the owner doesn’t quite understand customer service to the point where they will argue via Google reviews with other customers rather than going the usual route of rectifying the problems.TLDR: Over priced food with a very over priced drink menu run by what seems to be a very very stubborn and uptight owner that guilt trips you about corona causing them to up charge on everything.

the owners are highly unethical and treat their employees and customers with pure arrogance and greed. They can’t even train new employees instead just throw them in the pit and expect excellence right off the bat. Not much more to say besides why is this business still running? Not to mention it’s highly overpriced.

We had booked for the Latin dance night. Unfortunately they forgot to register our names by mistake. We showed up and it was pouring outside and after 20 minutes of waiting they told us our names were not on the list. They offered a free session later and free drinks. Dissapointed to miss the class.

Mane Street Cafe and Lounge
This was my first time coming here and I thought it was great! It can be pricy if you’re ordering multiple things but they give you so much!! I didn’t except my chicken quesadilla to be this big but I’m not complaining. It was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
