Maharani Mehendi

This lady is so rude. Literally kept making stupid comments and stressing out the bride. She brought such negative energy with her. The bride was not happy and instantly regretted hiring her. This was suppose to be a beautiful memory for the bride. The way she spoke to the cameraman was pretty funny. No class. There were no prior instructions on having lemon juice and sugar water available. Since we were at a rented house we had to run out to by some. According to her we should have know this, maybe she thinks we get married on a monthly basis vs her doing bridal Mehndi on a daily basis. She even her changed price once she arrived dispute going with the original design provided at the time of the quote

Disrespectful and rude

I just wanted to leave a review for Maharani mehandi. I had booked for my mendhi night and the experience was horrible. Bridal mendhi is supposed to be relaxing and a fun night for me but it turned out not to be. Starting off, she didn’t tell me any prior instructions, I had no clue on how to prepare beforehand. You’d think as a bridal mendhi artist, you would be prepared and bring the necessary things that are needed, but no, nothing was brought. There was no pillow for my arms to rest on and your arms and hands do get tired as you sit there for so long. She also didn’t bring lemon and sugar but she did not tell me she needed it until she was done one side of my arms and hands. If she had informed us beforehand, we could have gotten it ready. My cousins were running around during the ceremony to get it. As well as, she had brought no towels which was a very important item to bring. If we are paying someone to do bridal mendhi for $800, all the supplies should be bought and provided. Just as I thought it could not get any worse, it did. My cousins were taking pictures of me as every bridesmaids do and she quote on quote said “Don’t take pictures, your stressing my bride out”, that was not the case at all. In fact I enjoy taking pictures and wanted this memory to be captured but instead she was just very disrespectful towards them. Another thing she had said that was very disrespectful was towards my family. My family was talking about my top being low and she had said “If another person talks about your top being low, I’m going to smack them”, no matter what anyone says, she had no right to say that. I had paid her to do my bridal mendhi, not disrespect my family and guests. The entire time she was here, she was constantly speaking in a rude tone. She worked on my mendhi for 5+ hours and the entire time she kept complaining. She complained about me to me, my family, my backyard, my guests. Everything you can imagine, she complained about. I had just imagined the experience to be better. Even about the pricing, we had communicated and I was told around $350, it did seem very low as I know I wanted my mendhi high up but she had communicated with me the day of and told me it would be 800+. Of course she was paid the amount, but again, communication would have been appreciated. She did do a good job on the mendhi, I really did love my mendhi and it did turn out really dark which was great but the overall experience was awful. I would have been grateful if there was better communication and if she was more polite towards me and my family/guests.
