Corrupt, and acts like they don't receive documents

I don’t want to even give one star, Selena at family court to rude with me first she said i am not giving you my name and stamp memo for lawyers, worst service, clerks has to speak professionally with clients.

My first time at Oshawa court to file some papers in civil court. Every one I encountered before I get to that window was absolutely nice. The lady at the filing window, neglected to call me though you need a ticket to be in line, and took someone else , who she chatted with for , 25 minutes. At my turn, she was rude, condescending, and unprofessional in every meaning of the word, I didn't say anything but yes ma'am, no ma'am, and she was Rolling her eyes when I ask a question. Down right appalling.

This court house is corrupt and hates fathers. If you are a women, you can go and make up anything and get your way. Just file an exparte motion.

I have a small claims case submitted and all relevant fees paid for past two years. The last time I went to court to check up on the status of my file was mid 2021 and I was supposed to get update by fall 2021. I have emailed in the beginning of this year to the courts email and no response whole year gone by. If justice is to be served it should be served and staff must be accountable for not actioning emails. Two years and not a single letter or email response from Court office.

I was sent from one office to another to another and no one seemed to know what they were doing. I suggested they figure out what their doing because I've been at the courthouse for 2 days and still have gotten nowhere and guy looks at me and says 'no you need to get your s*** together'. As someone who's behind the desk and supposed to be a professional at all times I think that comment was pretty inappropriate. As someone who is a victim of domestic violence and trying to get an emergency restraining order the comment was uncalled for. Miserable unsympathetic people.

The staff at Mortgage Broker Store would like to thank the Sherrif's Office for it's assistance in stopping a power of sale and eviction of a family in Oshawa. The Sherrif gave us all the information we needed right away and our clients were able to stay in their home. Call us if you need help to stop an eviction.

1. +. Clean and modern courthouse.2. +. Fully functioning Tim Horton's attached.3. +. Staff were friendly.4. -. As of now, the GOOGLE MAPS LOCATION IS STILL WRONG for the Superior Court of Justice. I've tried fixing it to be where the Durham Region Law Association marking is, but the pin is still stuck at a site across from the actual SCJ.5. +. Easily accessible by public transit.6. +/-. Admin services at the counters are a little more strict than the other SCJ sites. You need to file a requisition form as well when you issue a document. Apparently, some SCJ sites don't need the form.I'll continue updating my review as I get more experience at this court.

Working on settling the estate of my father and the lady working at station 14 (Linda) was exceptionally helpful in getting the probate papers in order. She went above and beyond to help me get things in order. Very friendly, very professional and helpful. Truly a great experience.
