LEAP Legal Software (Canada)

We just started using LEAP for our law firm, and still in our transitioning phase. The customer support services of LEAP are exceptional. It is really powerful and vast software for law practice. Can't wait to explore the more amazing features and services this software has to offer. Highly recommended for running your law firm smoothly.

I have been using Leap for the last 3 months. The transition from PC Law to Leap has been great and the support far exceeds PC law Support. The system is user friendly and very intuitive. Happy I made the switch and would recommend to any practitioner who is tired of PC Law.UPDATE: the software suffers from several system glitches. I have spent more time with tech support over the last 4 weeks than I care to mention. While the response time from tech support is relatively decent, the fact that the same issues persist is a real problem.NEW UPDATE: STILL MAJOR PROBLEM ALMOST DAILY.

My husband, a sole proprietor, wanted to install LEAP but halfway through the software installation process he discovered it was not compatible with his computer. He told LEAP about this issue, and therefore never installed the software onto his computer.LEAP then charged him a $1500 cancellation fee" which was not in the contract/sign up agreement and therefore he was not legally required to pay it

We have been with leap for almost a month, we still cannot bill, enter time correctly, and our precedents have yet to be uploaded. I would never recommend this software to anyone. Support is less than ideal in every way possible. No law firm can be without accounting for more than a month, yet here we are. Unacceptable.

I have been using LEAP for almost 7 months. LEAP support staff have excellent knowledge and provided prompt service. LEAP’s practice management software is great with lot of integrations bringing in process efficiencies. LEAP training modules and LEAP community are great ways to further educate and get help on LEAP features and functionality. Going great with LEAP.

We have been using LEAP legal software at our law firm for a little over 2 months now. We migrated from older accounting software that required a local server. Our server was coming to end of life, and we chose LEAP largely because of they are cloud-based and would save us the cost of upgrading our server equipment.LEAP staff have been excellent assisting us in the transition. They transferred all of our existing dockets, accounts, and other accounting information - some of which was over 10 years old. The transition had bumps (as any would), but the LEAP staff have been excellent in helping us through the transition. I am very happy we made the jump and switched to LEAP, and would highly recommend it to other lawyers / firms thinking of making the change.

We have been using LEAP for our law practice for close to a year. The customer support is fantastic and LEAP works with you to make sure everything goes smoothly during the transition. They are constantly adding new features and taking live feedback based on specific needs of your practice. I highly recommend using LEAP, it has been a great experience.

Our firm made the switch to LEAP in early 2020. The transition team were extremely knowledgeable and laid out a precise and detailed timeline to ensure the smooth conversion of data and provided a detailed training schedule which afforded us very minimal downtime. After the conversion and training, LEAP continually checked in, they did not leave you to fend for yourself after committing to their program. We have continued to build our relationships with LEAP staff and have increased our knowledge of the LEAP program and what it has to offer. A quick email, call or chat line discussion and the staff are always there to solve any issues or answer any questions. The move to LEAP has greatly benefited our firm and productivity.

We have joined Leap on June 10th 2022. Leap team despite the difficulty that happened during the transition from PCLAW to Leap, they put an extra effort on making things right and assigned an extremely experienced staff Scott Oliver in charge and he managed to sort everything out and now we have been very pleased with our move. It’s hard to move from a software that everyone is use to it to a smart software. With their team on our side we are learning a lot and I can say the software is pretty smart and it will take a while for us to learn all the benefits since there is lots to it. One other thing I like about it that their development team they take things in consideration and try to upgrade as it goes so in years to come with all the inputs the software will keep getting updated based on users needs. They also really have less than 30 sec online chat system to answer any questions. Some of our staff have the chat line going all day and they have learned lots more than the other, their support has no limit. I highly recommend you get on boat now as I truly believe this is the next generation of legal software. Them link with Quick Book online which is a well stablished software says the reliability of this software.
