Proper Poke Piercing and Tattoo

My daughters both went to get noses piercings - one of my daughters fainted and the level of care that Amus and team showed her was beyond impressive. Not only did Amus catch my daughter to prevent her from further injury, but rushed to get juice, water, snacks and cold cloths for my daughter. Although we were the last appointment of the day, we were welcomed to stay until she was feeling better rather than being rushed out the door. I was super impressed and highly recommend!

Amus has been doing my piercings since my first year in Victoria. Seeing them grow as a professional and now into a business owner is absolutely amazing. I have been wanting to get my nose pierced for 7 years and it was never the right time to do it. I am so glad I wanted for Amus and Proper Poke. I had an amazing experience there.The person who greeted me was super kind and very professional and arrived to greet me very quickly. I love that they’re a paperless system for the consent forms and that they plant a tree for every one that’s signed, it’s so amazing to see a business that is actively caring for the environment.When I met Amus they came directly up to me and began to show me jewelry, I always instinctually trust a professional and they have an Infectious confidence that immediately calmed my nerves and made me excited for the appointment. They walked me through the jewelry they recommended and were extremely transparent about prices which I was very thankful for.When we began to prep for the piercing they asked me questions about my intake form and were very conscious about my wants and needs for my piercing and ensuring it was in the perfect place for me and that I was comfortable. The actual piercing time itself was extremely fast, and almost painless. I have never had a piercing move so smoothly into my body with no catching no extra pressure and no excess pain. I was shocked at how quick they were and how little pain I felt from the transition of the needle to the jewelry.I am thoroughly impressed and will be recommending everyone I can to go see Amus. Their passion, professionalism, and ability to listen attentively to a client is unmatched in my eyes and I will absolutely be back to support Amus and their team or tattoo artists alike.

been coming here for over 3 years and every time the experience is so great. amus is personable and friendly, including the other staff as well. i was hesitant when i first started getting into piercings about who to go to, and im so glad i came here! amus makes the piercing procedure go by fast and it never hurts as much and i think it would. always glad to pay the price of the jewelry, as i know it's high quality. i'm happy to say i've been here since amus was at union, and i can't wait to come back for more!!

I’ve gotten all my piercings here with Amus and have referred several friends to them! My piercings always come out looking awesome and heal without issues. The shop is clean and welcoming and all staff are kind and make the environment safe and inclusive. They are great at accommodating for people with disabilities too. Highly recommend going here!
