Mersey River Chalets & Nature Retreat
We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. It’s a hidden gem. Whether sitting on your deck with your morning coffee with nothing but the humming birds and a good book, or hitting the lake for some kayaking and turtle and frog watching with the kids, or an campfire at night, or the amazing star watching (best viewed from the big playground area). Turn off your phone and take it in. You won’t regret it!

What a wonderful delight. I stayed in a lodge room, 2 beds, kitchenet, sliding door, deck beautiful view of the lake. Loads of canoes, kayaks all around. Rooms are even stocked with life jackets. Love the common kitchen cabin, and restaurant onsite.

Really beautiful place , loved our cottage!Very clean and had everything we needed!Loved the free use of the kayaks!The boardwalk walking trail was so nice !So peaceful and quiet!Great family getaway ❤.So close to Keji also .Friendly staff ! Helpful!Hope to visit again in the fall !Thanks Julie

Mersey River Chalets & Nature Retreat
This location is easily accessible and incredibly peaceful and gorgeous. The hosts are great and have everything you need for you stay, just bring food! There are canoes and kayaks to enjoy, amd a variety of housing options. We stayed in a small chalet and couldn't ask for better. There is also a small playground and basketball court. A boardwalk trail goes the perimeter of the grounds from one lake, down the river, to another lake. Will be back here again for sure!

Exceptional location with beautiful chalets, tipi, log houses and lakes. Everything was ready for us by the time we checked in. Place was clean and cozy. Would love to come here back in summer and explore the location

Mersey River Chalets & Nature Retreat
This is a special place. The property is so pretty and peaceful, the cabins are cozy and comfortable, and the staff is friendly. It is perfectly situated for quick access to Keji National Park but you could also spend all day on site between the canoes and kayaks to use, walking paths, and the beach on the lake. We had an amazing evening canoeing upriver at sunset.

Mersey River Chalets & Nature Retreat
We enjoyed staying in one of the “teepees” by the water and were perfectly comfortable. We took advantage of the canoes and kayaks available for free use but my favorite part was walking on the incredibly beautiful boardwalk along the stream, which was full and flowing when we were there. Such a beautiful, hidden gem. Super nice hosts. Highly recommend this tucked away little paradise.

Mersey River Chalets & Nature Retreat
The perfect place for a peaceful weekend. Lake access with kayaks and canoes available for use. Children's sizes as well. We slept in the log cabin, part was under renovation but we never would have know. Never heard or saw anyone and felt fully private. We stayed with 2 families (4 adults, 1 teen, 2 elementary kids) and only ran into other folks for maybe 2 hours on the lake.Water is beautiful for swimming, warm and clean. Lovely river to paddle down and look for frogs, old beaver dams, water lilies.We paddled out to the dock at midnight to watch the stars and satellites.Beautiful memories made here.

Very clean and comfortable cabins. Beautiful scenery and lots to do for an affordable price. Free kayaking and canoeing, basketball, tennis, badminton, walking trails and board walks. Plus, very friendly owners who care about your experience!

Mersey River Chalets & Nature Retreat
We stayed for two nights in October, and I fell in love with this place! It was peaceful and secluded, extremely private especially at that time of year, and the management and staff were absolutely lovely and helpful, not to mention great for a chat. Our chalet was warm and cozy, we cooked dinner there and had a fire on a cool evening. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the chalets are dog-friendly which was a bonus for us.
