Cavin was a pleasure to work with. From the first time we talked, it seemed as if we were talking to a close friend. He listened and provided us with all the information we needed, and gave us some questionnaires which gave him an idea of what we were looking for. From there it was like clock work, Cavin provided us with a detailed timeline and what we can expect. Cavin showed up early on our wedding day to set up, and fit right in. He played everything we asked, and provided an excellent mix of music that all of our guests enjoyed. in fact many of our guests asked for his contact information after the wedding. Thank you Cavin for making our special day even more special. As a little extra, Cavin even made us a video with some photos that he took of our day. Incredible person and awesome DJ.

I worked alongside Cavin at a wedding this past weekend and it was an absolute blast! Cavin surely knows how to get the party started and how to keep the party going. He got a good sense of what the couple and the crowd liked and he flew with it. It was a huge success. In addition, he was quick on his feet to adjust any sound issues. Cavin James Entertainment was voted by my students to be the DJ at Mayfield Secondary School's Prom this year. He was friendly, professional, and miraculously, he kept the students under control. We found DJ Cavin James by chance on Instagram and am I ever glad we did. Right away he was very responsive and was always very quick to respond to our messages as the event planning continued. To say that DJ Cavin did a great job at our Year End Celebration is an understatement. We hired Cavin to DJ at a corporate event for a large financial institution for about 130 people. We had ages ranging from early 20s to late 60s with a wide variety of cultures. We gave him very little direction on what to play but he read the crowd and nailed it. He had everyone up on their feet having a great time. He has an amazing and engaging personality. He was very professional, punctual and organized which lead to a very successful and smooth evening. I’m usually one to go up and request songs but it was as though he was reading my mind and that of my colleagues. The feedback from the entire party was extremely positive. We will definitely have him DJ any future events and we highly recommend him!
