I’m not one to ever write a bad review but this customer service was completely uncalled for. I came to Kingsway mall on Friday, September 25th to purchase some items from the body shop and the website said the store closed at 7. The time I went there was 6:10. I waited at the door because the sign said wait at the door until someone greets you. A lady with blonde ish hair and a beige sweater kept looking at me and so I assumed she was busy at the moment and didn’t have time to come to the door. I patiently waited and was confused as to why they would be closed an hour early. As I’m looking down at my phone to check the time to make sure I wasn’t mistaken, I heard someone say we’re closed, and then I look up and it’s the same lady and for some reason she gave me the nastiest attitude and tone I have ever heard. “We’re closed” she said. No sorry, or anything and complete lack of customer service. Even if you had a bad day there’s no need to be rude to a customer especially when your store hours said you close at 7. You guys need to update your hours so that you don’t waste my time. I love your products but due to this lady’s unprofessionalism I never want to come back there again.

I like the products but not pushy salespeople who have a scripted answer when you dont want to buy something. Dont like hawk salespeople while im shopping who say how great every product I touch is. Leave customers alone & let them shop. I returned their too water filled scrub & got something just as natural & better quality at Shopper's for 60% less in price.

Bought my favourite soaps and was happy to know from a staff that they’re on sale for buy 2 get one. However, the cashier charged me for the price of three so I clarified that the other staff mentioned that they’re on sale. The cashier named Destiny then worked some time on their machine and said something like they were $6 so i get $1 off each. I then found out that they were just $5 each and I just paid the regular price. I felt cheated. She did not have to lie if she did not want to give me the price for buy 2 get 1 free.

Great products and customer service.I don’t like that now that some products like The drops of Youth liquid peel are now in a smaller container for the same price as it was in the bigger container.If you are going to give less product you should charge less.They also use to have big body butters now they are small so you don’t get any kind of deal.

My daughter was shopping here and she found the service kind, caring, and just right.

An excellent shopping experience at this Body Shop in the Kingsway Garden mall which redeemed cash on a gift card from way before Covid when I used the Edmonton City Center outlet. Some of the most admired brands in the world are B Corp certified, including Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia and our parent company, Natura. These were all friends of and inspirations to the founder, Dame Anita Roddick.The Body Shop has achieved B Corp certification, a status given to companies that are said to meet high standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. Staff most courteous and helpful in choosing a lipstick to my preference and they seemed to enjoy their job which pleases me very much. 5/5

I went to kingsway tonight to pick up an online order from a different store. As I was walking past the body shop I noticed they were having a sale. There was something I was really wanting and was excited that it might be on sale. I stood at the door where the ropes (but not doors) were closed. There were 2 workers inside who looked at me then continued talking. There was no other customer in the store. This was at 645-650ish pm. The store states closed at 7, so why wouldn't anyone let me in? Yea I know stragglers are the worst (I work retail) but to close 10-15 mins early seems crazy to me. If this is protocol then the store hours need to be amended.

I adore their body butters.The Satsuma one works wonders as a mosquito repellent.Inventory is always stocked.Always have great specials and deals on their products.My fave is the Kingsway Mall location...the staff are super friendly and helpful. They always make my visit enjoyable and make my day!

Had to return a gift set due to allergic reaction (had receipt and credit card). There was only one staff member working, Gwendoline, and she refused to return to my credit card and said the only option was store credit... I didn't want a store credit because I'm not sure which ingredient my skin reacted to, and don't feel like trying a bunch of other products. I insisted she call a manager at another store, and they approved the return no problem - as they should, since I had the receipt and credit card! And to make matters worse, she was rude when processing the return and rolled her eyes at me, rather than apologizing!

How this store remains open I have no clue, It's ALWAYS empty, zero customers! I only went in there to use my birthday coupon on January 26 2023, I am an informed shopper and I knew what I was looking for and what I wanted, with no customers in the store the two sales clerks were talking with one another when I walked in, it took a while for the one girl to come and acknowledge me. When she finally did I inquired about the product I wanted and she immediately bombarded me with what type of skin do I have??" I get that that's a sales tactic but as an informed customer I don't want to be bombarded or harassed with questions so I simply told her no I'm not playing that game with you
