Skeena Bakery
The Skeena Bakery was one of the best stops in Hazelton. The staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable/passionate about their business, and the coffee is so excellent we would stop multiple times a day. They sell local coffee beans by the bag either as beans or pre-ground in many blends as well as locally made chocolate bars that I bought one of each of (choices are hard when it comes to chocolate), their baguettes have a lovely crust and are soft and fluffy on the inside, and my partner and I LOVED their “elephant ears”. We were tipped off about ordering cream cheese icing on them and it is the way to go. For an out of this world experience, like all successful bakeries, the earlier you go the more choices you have; they’re a bustling spot so get your goodies while you can!

Best tasting coffee in town. Baked goods are so good. I had a sticky cinnamon bun, it left be wanting another one but I was 60 kms away and I couldn’t get one and I also had a croissant with egg in the middle it’s was good to. I can’t wait until it opens tomorrow morning on my way out. The best about this bakery was the guy in back baking the goods. You can watch him bake the goods you are about to eat. Tomorrow I might add a photo if I don’t eat the stick bun 1st. Great spot for some FRESH baked goods.

Tasty baked goods, good service, warm friendly service. Tip, phone ahead if you would like to order certain breads eg. sour dough. Great local coffee served from Mercedes Beans.

Just a great place! Their baked goods are excellent (I'm a big fan of the sausage rolls and Picasso bread), they sell Mercedes coffee and Donna's chocolate (also great and nice to support other local shops), and they try and hire and support local community members.

Had wonderful cinnamon buns and a chocolate bun but everything looked so good! Super friendly staff. This bakery is a not-for-profit as well, so not only are you getting delicious treats, but you’re also supporting their work. ❤️
