Marie-Anne was so calm and patient for our newborn session. She gave us all the time we needed - which was a lot with our 2 young children and newborn! We absolutely loved our photos and Marie-Anne's mix of artistry, professionalism and comforting demeanor.Would reccomend Painted Turtle again and again!

It was such a pleasure to work with Marie-Anne! We did maternity portraits with her for our second child. She was phenomenal at keeping our toddler engaged and animated. We felt so at ease taking the pictures, not posed or fake, just like we were having moments in time captured. She had lots of suggestions but also went with what occurred naturally. Marie-Anne has an amazing eye and an ability to catch those little looks and smiles that just happen, rather than forcing them. Her website is also well laid out and easy to access to review photos after. We could not be more happy with our photos and with her work!

We really enjoyed our photo session with Marie-Anne. She was a pleasure to work with: calm, easy-going, respectful, professional, and she definitely has an eye for the whimsical and magical. We have two active young children who can be very busy in open spaces, but Marie-Anne kept them engaged in what, to them, was an evening of play! Wow! We had an amazing session with Marie-Anne.
