Mount Joy Community Centre

An older community centre tucked away next to St. Brother Andre Catholic High School. It has an indoor soccer field and indoor ice rink. Unlike other community centres it does NOT have a library or swimming pool. A wooden desk and foldable chair make their reception area. Plenty of parking space though.

The indoor soccer field is a little weird because of the low ceiling with lights and corrugated metal (the ball will hit it and still be in play) and the grass is of the old carpet that'll tear your knees up variety. However, they are apparently putting a dome over one of the outdoor turf fields for the winter, so that should help the soccer situation. The rest of the facilities (hockey, etc.) do seem very nice though.

Great facilities. Lights need to be placed from the parking lot towards the Dome. It is very dark and on a hill. It will become very dangerous once it starts to snow or get slippery outside.

Large community center with skating rink, indoor soccer field, etc. They do vaccination checks at front door, so prepare to show up a bit earlier if you don't want to late for scheduled classes/games.

The maintenance people should be congratulated on keeping this arena so we’ll kept. Very clean, bright and positive environment.

I was attending my son soccer game and have to admit this community centre have no outside washrooms very disappointed.

Facility is clean, operation hours are good, staffs are friendly.

Small but good u only have ice hockey and soccer

Come here for kid's soccer camp. Can't beat the beautiful indoor soccer field!

The entrance to the community center is hidden. The street that it's on is not named and is actually the driveway to Brother Andre Catholic high school. In order to get to the community centre, one must turn into the driveway of Brother Andre, then keep driving straight on towards the back field where you then turn left into a separate parking lot. In fact there's no official left turn lane to get onto the driveway. There's a flat median that everyone turns onto; when heading east on Highway 16, google map directions are to drive past the lane, and turn around at the next street so you can go back to make a right turn! There isn't even a sign on the street indicating that you're supposed to turn onto the driveway to get into the community centre!
