This place is a gem. Great home-cooked meals at a good price. My favorites so far are the fish cakes (really good) and the seafood chowder, which is to die for! Potato salad is amazing too. Very friendly people and great service. I will be trying more menu items as we are moving to this community soon!

Fried clams are amazing. Breading is nice and light. For the non seafood lovers they have burgers.

It's pretty obvious the target market are tourists who have never had fresh seafood. It was absolutely inedible. The fish wasn't fresh and the batter was soggy and oily. The scallops and clams were not cooked long enough, pale soggy and somehow rubbery. Battered shrimp was the same as the fish, soggy and dripping with grease. The lobster I'm guessing was microwaved as it was hard and rubbery. It actually stuck together in a clump we had to peel apart. They didn't have any french fries so they offered other options. We chose potato skins and they actually upcharged us for it even though it was an inventory level error on their part. They weren't even cooked. Seafood chowder was bland and the cream had broken. Hard to tell how many times it had been re heated to cause that. The tarter sauce sat out unrefridgerated on the counter as a self serve option. We couldn't even eat more than a couple bites before we lost our appetite and left. 45 dollars for a seafood platter and chowder we couldn't even eat. Very disappointed.

We had visited this location on our last stay at White point. That was during the pandemic and sadly we couldn't exactly get the full experience. The food was great and everything then but driving back, it lost some of it's flavor. This time however we were able to eat inside and it was extremely fresh. My wife must have spoken about 10 minutes about how fresh and crunchy the fries were. The fish was so fresh it was extremely flaky and delicious. The kids enjoyed their hamburgers much better than they did last time. This is definitely a place where if you're going to eat here, you have to eat it as soon as they prepare it. There's a night and day difference between eating at the location when the food is fresh versus eating after about 20 minutes of driving. The food is absolutely phenomenal

We tried their seafood plate. It had one piece fish, shrimps, scallops, clams and lobster. Everything was breaded, except for the lobster. The clams and scallops were great. The shrimp and fish were good. The lobster was not good, it was tough and leathery with no taste. They've a nice outdoor patio to sit. It was very busy even on a weekday but we got our order within 15 to 20 mins.

We generally go here for just Ice cream, especially coffee soft serve, but their food is also good whenever we order both.

We will never go back to seaside seafoods in Hunts point NS seafood chowders. Potatoes not cooked. Another missing fish it was mainly uncooked potatoes. Tasted awful/former yrs recipe was Not used. Missing several key ingredients. We Called re the awful chowders. The owner was to be told as well as the 2nd cook. Next day we Called again to see if a new batch was made. Went back next day as was assured it was a new batch and the old recipe. It was Not! Then older heavy woman with painted makeup and black hair was very rude and insulting". Such bad customer service by 2 employees.Factual constructive customer feedback is not welcome. We gave them a chance to correct it discretely with customer feedback but it was definitely not welcome.Bad staff is no staff and the ta woman with short red/ brown hair was also a bad employee and did something rude. The evening before there was a sweet young woman serving icecream who gave excellent customer service. She is a good example. It was two horrible experiences on two consecutive days and not the chowders recipe we had for years. We will never go back."

Very disappointed. We tried the clams and scallops expecting the claim of best clams in the world" to be a great treat. There was absolutely no taste to either and the batter was limp and tasteless also. French fries and coleslaw are great but the potatoe skins were way under cooked."
