Overall terrible experience. The food just tastes like frozen food reheated and the sauces tasted bad. The staff were friendly but didn't come by very often. By the end i was dying to just pay and leave but getting the bill took longer than the food. The cleanest place was the bathroom every other surface was dark and dirty. When we got to the booth there was broccoli all over but i didn't want to bother the waitress so i wiped it myself but then she said we were the first ones to eat there all day which was a huge red flag. Definitely not going back just wish i could get my money and hour of my life back.

Overall, super poor experience. There was a hair in my food, never got a refill for our table’s water for the entire duration of our meal, and we were given a very obviously unwashed plate (food stains and sauce marks all over). Food is below mediocre, customer service was not good but still left a good and fair tip considering the bare minimum wasn’t even reached for our experience. Will never come back here again.

I called ahead to book for a Friday night team dinner (20+). At first the manager wasn’t sure they would be able to accommodate us but called in a reinforcement for that night and happily took our party. When we showed up, they were well prepared for us, handled our meals and drinks with ease, and we had no problems! Everyone enjoyed the food and speed of service - would highly recommend!!

My waiter was ErikaEvery time I have been here it has been incredible. The menu is amazing, the staff are incredible and the value is better than most casual dining restaurants.

We live in montreal and when we go to totonto we always stop by applebees cause we LOVE the mac and cheese with the chicken strips.As usual it was delicious and I took the shark bowl drink wich was enormous ! My husband had to finish it for me.Service was good too loved our server but dont remember her name unfortunately

Food was great, however the restaurant was not staffed for how busy it was. Can fully understand how business can only be predicted based on previous sales/guest flow.Biggest reason for this negative review is:When I asked how much longer the food would be for 2 of our party I was told we are very busy and trying out best". I did advise the young person that that was not our problem as it had been 40+ minutes since the order was placed.When the young person (hostess?) left the table they rolled their eyes and made a very unprofessional facial expression. This of course was not visible to myself however multiple people at the table did see the behavior. This is not acceptable nor is the reply that "we are doing best". Professional response should have been "I'm sorry

Applebee's is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere. I recently visited the location in Ajax and was blown away by the excellent service I received from Jessica.From the moment I sat down, Jessica was incredibly friendly and attentive. She took the time to explain the menu to me and even offered some excellent recommendations on what to order. I could tell that she really cared about making my dining experience as enjoyable as possible.Not only was Jessica a fantastic server, but she also went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect throughout my meal. She checked on me frequently to make sure that I had everything I needed and even provided some great conversation to make me feel right at home.As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the bourbon street steak and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were incredible and I could tell that a lot of care went into preparing my meal.Overall, I would highly recommend Applebee's to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. And if you happen to visit the location in Ajax, be sure to ask for Jessica as your server. She truly made my visit memorable and I'm sure she'll do the same for you!

Applebee's Grill + Bar
The food was delicious, I just feel like they lack in presentation skills. The chicken and mashed potatoes meal needed some colour to make the meal look more appetizing for example, a medley of colourful veggies at the side. The onions also could’ve been sautéed a bit more. The picture that I put up shows exactly how the food was served before digging into our meal. Our server was great and I enjoyed sitting out on the patio on this nice sunny day.

Food was pretty good, but portion seemed small, especially the mac&cheese. We liked the wonton taco and the Tex-Mex shrimp salad had many flavours. The fish and chips tastes like typical fish and chips.
