Mr. Chsherbinin represented me in a labour dispute, which entailed a hearing before the Ontario Labour Relations Board (to remove union and get me standing) and two arbitration hearings. These proceedings were extensive, included 8 witnesses, lasted 6 days and resulted in favourable outcomes. As a professor of criminology, I can tell you that there are generally two types of counsel: (1) those that do an average job of preparation and hope for a settlement or plea; and (2) “true believers” who share a client’s view of injustice and go the extra mile in preparation and a willingness to take the matter to adjudication.
