Labrador Heritage Society Craft Shop
We had a wonderful time with Sharon who told us so many things from the authors of the books to the trappers and much more. Plan to spend some time at the many varied displays in the main room especially the “tilt” where trappers used to cook & live. Then, spend even more time in the adjacent room where the miniature displays are on timers representing the day to day life “back when”: the axman does actually chop down the tree! The snowmobile rides as does the sled and much more. You will want to push each diorama’s button to listen to the sounds and watch the sights! Such a fun interactive Hudson’s Bay historical museum!
