Shoppers Drug Mart

Very attentive to everyone else’s needs,just not mine… Phone call customer service is more important than the customer who has been waiting for 20-minutes or longer !! Fix this ASAP !!David, Fairview.

Tons of grocery items along with the other drug store items. The self-serve check-out is convenient given how busy they usually are but having them spaced more apart would be better.

I am not a big fan of any Shoppers Drug Mart, and the Dutch Village Road location has to be the worst. I have tried numerous times to contact the pharmacy via phone. I waited and waited and the message continuously loops around repeating from beginning to end. The pharmacy never answers. When you go in to pick up a prescription the pharmacist will ignore you until she/he finishes whatever she/he is doing on the computer screen. I go in about once a month to pick up a relative's prescription and this always happens. The store wants customers to use the self checkouts, so there is never more than one cashier on duty. As a result there is always a line-up at the one check-out manned by a human. Last time I was in I ended up using the self checkout. It was Seniors Day [20%] discount. I didn't realize at the time, but when you use the self-checkout you don't get the Seniors discount unless you ask the one cashier on duty to override the system. There is no sign at the self checkout indicating that you have to go to the regular cashier to get the discount. Lesson learned. If you want the discount, be sure to wait in the long line-up to be served by a surly cashier.

Staff inside and outside the Pharmacy are extremely sweet and always willing to help. Appreciate the heck out of this team :')

Terrible customer service, the man and woman up front should be fired. 10am nov 28.I used the self check to pay for my overpriced cold and flu meds. The transaction went through charging my card 25, but the machine didn't print out the receipt. So I told the staff and they said the transaction didn't go through, meanwhile my bank account is out the 25. So they told me to pay again, I said no. So I left with nothing and have to wait and find out if Il get my money back.

I actually worked at this location for 15 years when it first opened on Dutch Village Rd in 1985. I was the first food basket manager in Canada as this was the test store, so I am familiar with all aspects of the business. I’m not usually a “leave a review” guy but it’s time. I’ve never had an issue with my prescriptions over the years but the last number of months has been horrendous (since the associate changed).The last 3 times I’ve gone in to pick up my Humira the rx has been wrong! I get needles instead of the auto injector pens. As I said, I know the process of Pharmacists required to check the Rx that techs fill…I don’t think this is happening cause they’re wrong . Thank god you have Loretta & Diane to get things straightened out. Got a txt on Saturday saying my Humira was ready for pickup but I was waiting on another to come in to pick them all up at once. Got there today & they couldn’t find a $1700.00 Rx.Loretta to the rescue again. She reassured me she’d have it tomorrow.

Just to let you know, if you’re ever overcharged for an item you can be entitled to compensation.It’s happened to me before. Something like Ben and Jerry’s scanning at full prices when it’s 2 for 10. Due to the incorrect price in the system I would get the item for free.I grabbed a 4 case of glass Coca-Cola today from Shoppers on Joseph Howe drive. The soda ran up to $7.49 even thought the price was $6.99 in store. I made sure I was wrong before asking for help, but when checked the price tag was $6.99. So I called for help.Cheri, the shoppers cashier specialist afterwards went to check and then brought me plastic bottles and said these are the ones on sale. she said she can discount the amount for Me to the price of $6.99 for the trouble.But the Retail Council of Canada (RCC) are the ones who oversee these situations to keep the stores accountable. Under the Scanner Price Accuracy Code I should have received these coca colas for free.Anyways I go back to look at the price and noticed it was “taken off”Coincidentally this was the only soda with no tag….R.I.P customer service

If your debit is down there should be a sign at the front door letting people know so they’re not walking around picking up the things they need to find out that they need to have cash.
