Very friendly and helpful staff. This store has great deals on lenses and frames. Before purchasing my glasses, I visited every store and town and revisited this store because I felt this store had the widest variety of brands. They had my first pair of glasses ready within a couple hours. My second pair was ordered in free of charge. They bill directly to Pacific Blue Cross.

I bought my daughters glasses here 2 months ago. The service at the time was great, they did what they could to keep the cost down, we're friendly and pretty quick. The glasses have since fallen apart and an ear piece is missing - I took them in to see if they could order a replacement piece (I'd pay, of course) but they have since changed ownership so there is nothing they can do - dissappinting service given the glasses are 2 months old.

I decided to go into the store tonight with my 8-year-old and 2-year-old. I wear glasses so does my 8-year-old and my 2 year old has a lazy eye so she will possibly need glasses in the future. I've had a hard time finding glasses that we like so decided to check out lensmakers. The moment that we walked into the store I felt uncomfortable and not welcome. Their were two older ladies and one younger girl, It was the older ladies that made me feel very uneasy and unwelcome. They didn't come out and ask if we wanted help they just stared at me the whole time, and when I asked questions I got a cold shoulder vibe and not a very welcoming response her tone of voice was just not the nicest. I was asked if we had the prescriptions with us and I said no I don't I'm just looking around, and after I gave my response I got the cold shoulder. Almost as if they thought that I was not going to be a paying customer so they didn't have to give me proper customer service and waste their time with me. I found two pairs of glasses for me that I liked, my 8-year-old found a few that she liked and was excited about, And if my two-year-old needs glasses I found one pair of really stretchy ones that were pink that she can't break that I liked. Because of the way I felt in the store and how uncomfortable I was I will not be giving the store a dime of my money. I will not support a business that treats their customers that way. When you go into a store you should feel welcome and that is not how I felt. Unfortunately I will be taking my service and money elsewhere and I will not be recommending my friends go to this store.

Great service today. Went in looking for nosepads for my sunglasses. Found out they were obsolete, but they managed to find something that worked out of old stock. Was no charge with a smile too. Will be back

Wow, I'm extremely impressed and pleased with my experience.First of all, no other glass store was open on Easter Monday, they were, it was great to hear a helpful voice answer the phone after frustratingly trying multiple other stores. I headed over immediately to discuss in person.Second, I had a very unique situation that I was visiting Kamloops for an extended work trip, and desperately needed to fill a difficult perscription. The staff assessed the perscription before even considering selling me frames, to confirm they could make it.Once confirmed, they helped review frame options that would work with my perscription (thick lenses).They stayed right until the mall closed to fill the Rx to try to get me seeing again that day but unfortunately the lenses had a very slight but noticeable defect.They released them to me but stressed that this is not the level of quality they wish to provide and asked me to return the following day so they would have more time to try a different material.Once the new lenses were ready the following day, as promised, I received a call to bring my frames back to swap the lenses, at no charge.The final product was slightly thinner, which was unexpected and a bonus! No defect this time of course...The glasses turned out perfect, I was very surprised and grateful that they were able to help me through my difficult situation!

I went to Lensmakers to get the lenses replaced in my sunglasses. I dont have a prescription in them, but I love the frames. The staff there were knowledgable and friendly! They did everything in-house so I could have them back same day, and the tint is perfect! Very pleased and will be returning!

I visited Lens Crafters for the first time to get some frames. I was very impressed with the service Dimple provided during my visit. She was very professional and friendly with providing me the frames. On a follow up visit, Mary assisted me and again provided the highest level of service for a second time. It’s great to see such excellent customer service from 2 employees at the same location. I would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our visit to the Kamloops store. Great product and fantastic service. The manager, I believe her name is Mary, showed us frames and provided an affordable quotation. We hope to return very soon.

I sensed something was fishy when I walked in. Could have just left but my fault.I walked in there and asked for same lense thickness and nothing to be altered to my prescription. But they went ahead and added more thickness to my lenses and charged me for something I didn't ask for and I hate thick lenses. Ask if they could get it fixed and was told it would charge more to fix it.My worst $170 buck I have ever spent in my entire life.Bad customer service. Never going back. Avoid this place at all costs if you want value for your buck!!

I've been in the Lensmakers store a few times and I always find the staff to be pleasant and accomadating! I like that it's not a big chain, just a business trying to make it in a very competitive world these days. The staff were fun to chat with as well!! I will be back!
