I preordered a game here, received a call leading up to release that there would be a midnight release. I went to the store around 11:45pm and after waiting for AN HOUR AND A HALF they finally told me I wouldn't get a copy because I didn't get there early enough to take a number. This wasn't mentioned to me in the phone call or when I arrived, only after waiting in line. Don't go here, not recommended.

Used to come here as a child and it was my favourite store. Went in here a couple times in the last month and each time has been bad. Not sure if your employees are scared of women but the first time I went I didn’t get greeted at all, the second time I went I asked one question and got a super short and cold answer from one guy.

I went there for Zelda TOTK and surprised to find my ~7 year EB game gift card worked. The price for modern triple A games are take it or leave it as the price had increased since I've last been. They got lots of games and other related items if you interested in just looking.

Love GameStop. They have a member's card that gives you a little specials here and there. All of the staff is amazing and so courteous and kind and calm. They know their stuff too. It's always clean and organized in there and very well kept up. There's always some previously played games, which go for super cheap. If you spend an extra couple bucks they'll guarantee that if the disc doesn't work you can return it for another one. If they don't have one they give you in store credit. Awesome we highly recommend this place.

Walked in looking to buy a used wireless Xbox controller. No greeting when I came in, no acknowledgement I was there. As I looked around trying to find the controllers, nobody came up and asked if I needed help. Completely ignored me from the moment I walked in. Found something I liked, no price tag on it. I stood on one side of the sales counter, as there was a customer being helped in front of me. After that customer leaves I'm told to go to the other side, where another staff was standing but didn't say anything to me. At this point they could have said the controller did not come with a rechargeable battery pack and maybe offer to sell me one. NOPE. I get home, unpack it, ready to play. Plug it in, sync it up all the fun stuff. I unplug it, wait a moment, and nothing happens. Controller is dead. It had no battery pack in it. They could have mentioned this. They could have offered for me to buy an additional one. Bad service all around. Now, it's been a while since I set foot in this place. Probably 4 years actually. In fact, it was still an EB Games last I was here. The customer service aspect has changed drastically since then, and unfortunately it's for the worse.

Very very helpful, and super friendly. They were understaffed and yet they kept their composure, and worked together to get all the customers taken care of.

Would've ranked this zero stars if possible. If you're looking for Pokemon cards, look elsewhere as going to this store will be a waste of time for any real collectors. Their company policy only allows them to sell you 3 packs per day, with the only way around it being to buy another edge membership (imagine that). The fact that I pay for an edge membership and am limited by the company as to what and how much of a product I can buy is far beyond ridiculous. They say it's to prevent resale, but anyone with half a brain can identify that they limit the sale of individual booster packs in hopes that you'll buy one of their overpriced box sets instead. I won't renew my edge membership or spend any money at a store that limits what I'm allowed to purchase and you shouldn't either.
