With a snowfall warning in effect (this might not translate well to summer time) the 6 weary workers piled into work trucks to decend on this unsuspecting eating establishment.. from the quaint atmosphere in front of this wonderful shoppe, the tasteful decor and cheery staff.. the workers did not know what was in store for them... great food. Our spry young waitress was very nice and accomodating for even our pickiest order-ee ( i won't single Cathal out i promise) wonderful poached eggs, the boom fries top shelf. I look forward to visiting again.

Local favorite. Great egg options. Old school, beauty espresso machine = great coffee, espresso. Busy spot, but line moves quickly. Open kitchen. Outdoor patio. Booth and table options. Vegan and gluten free options. Side street parking and Green P street options.

We stumbled into Boom Breakfast simply because it was close to our accommodations, but are we ever glad we did! We were immediately greeted by friendly staff as they prepared our table and our server Isabel was a true star! She is clearly loves people, her light shines so bright and she takes extreme pride in what she does. The food was great, it arrived quickly and we received the best service. Would most definitely return if in the area.

If you’d asked me even a few years ago, I probably would’ve given a lower rating because the staff then was average, at best. The staff they have working there now, the servers in particular, are the nicest, hardest working and most skilled individuals. There’s one lady in particular (I don’t know her name) who makes a point to say hi to me even when I’m passing the restaurant in the morning while I walk my dogs. What a lovely human-being!The food has always been great but the service lately is next level.

So, I would like to start by saying that I've been vegan for 20 years, and going out for breakfast has been a challenge basically this entire time, unless I go to a vegan restaurant. When I was able to go to Boom and simply order almost anything I wanted off the menu and leave the restaurant feeling satisfied, nourished, and cared for, it felt like a dream. I am already looking forward to coming back, to find any excuse to choose specifically to go out for breakfast with friends. The eggs were fantastic, as were the vegan sausages. It really was a 10 out of 10.On top of that, our server was magnificent and so attentive to my needs. She was kind, sweet, courteous, and so professional. I didn't get her name, but she was working at the St. Clair location on a Wednesday at around 11:00 am.I so look forward to coming back. Vegans, come eat at Boom! You will be 100% satisfied!

Decent brunch spot. Can get quite busy and staff is a bit brief/rushed. Had the Western College sandwich which came with potato wedges. Taste was great, but looks like they forgot the chicken and the bread was more soggy than crisp.

The waitstaff was very attentive and polite. The food was in small portions (I finished all of the XL breakfast and for the price you would expect leftovers). But the $6 upcharge to make the breakfast vegan and gluten free wasn’t too bad- especially since the vegan sausage and eggs were delicious (I am still not plant-based and think anyone would love them). The diner like environment is cute and bright. I couldn’t tell if the tables were dirty or stained but I’m sure if I would’ve asked the waitress she would’ve wiped it down or explained.
