Owner removed my 3-year old daughter from the academy because we questioned her practice of cancelling an entire class with only 2 hours notice of the first session. The class was confirmed to start via email only a few days prior. Owner is also passive aggressive in her communications.Volunteers do not have any consideration for people who are not “part of the family.”I suggest you take advantage of the free trials offered at almost any dance academy and ensure you are choosing the best school for your child.I do not recommend Chantal’s Dance Academy Dance Academy (CDA Dance Academy).

My daughters have been dancing at CDA since 2015. Love the family atmosphere and the positive attitude of the owner and all of the staff. My kids love to go to dance and they have recently enjoyed virtual classes! Always engaging, inclusive and balanced. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

This is our first season at CDA and so far we have had a great experience. We are new to York Region and my daughter was very nervous about switching dance companies. CDA welcomed her with open arms. My daughter has gained so much confidence she truly loves going to Dance every single week! The Dance instructors are very professional, kind and caring. Chantal the owner always has a smile and shines boasts positivity! My daughter loves and adores Chantal. CDA is our home away from home ~ Our new Dance Familia!

Chantal is amazing! I had my 5 year old daughter's birthday party at the facility and she has amazing energy and organized an awesome dance party! Highly recommend!

Horrible, Unprofessional & DirtyCDA is a Horrible disgusting dance studio. The owner Chantal has been unprofessional throughout our time there, especially during COVID. Mrs Chantal only cares about the money not the students. She did not respect Covid regulations. She is unprofessional, rude and Mrs Chantal doesn’t care about her students and families. Save your money. Horrible studio.

Bad experience, DO NOT put your kids here. I’m 100% you will end up wanting to move your child elsewhere. Chantal the owner is unprofessional and childish. If I can put 0 star I would do so. Please spend your money elsewhere in Aurora for dance. There’s North, Dynamic, and etc that actually care about your child. The dance instructors are even leaving cause they can’t stand her.

I have been connected to CDA Dance for over 12 years now and have had nothing but positive experiences with all staff and management. They provide an extremely welcoming and encouraging atmosphere where people of any age or gender can go and learn dance. They also act with high professionalism and are always kind. I would highly recommend this studio.

Great experience, my daughter is almost 5 and is absolutely loving the experience. Chantal is very engaging with the kids and ALL Covid protocols were followed. You can tell she is in the business to give back to the kids and the community....keep up the great work!!!

CDA is a great dance studio. The owner Chantal has been amazing throughout our time there, especially during COVID. My daughter loves it there. She even has provided backyard dance classes to my daughter. She is enthusiastic, passionate and so caring to her students and families. Highly recommend this studio.
