I was very impressed with and grateful for the service that our Funeral Director, Veronica Tod, provided for our family. She covered every detail and really went above and beyond to make sure all arrangements were completed so we didn't have to. She was very caring and professional, and I would highly recommend her.

The service that my family received for the services for my mom, Frances Fredette was beyond exceptional. Veronica, Lorena, Manuela and Nola (I apologize if I missed anyone) made a difficult time during all the COVID restrictions so much easier for us. Some of the extra things that you did exceeded our expectations, helped in so many ways and will not be forgotten. Thank you to those responsible for making mom look so peaceful and at rest. We will all miss our mom but will be forever grateful for being able to say goodbye to her with such a positive experience.

When I first met with Veronica at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Abbotsford I was anxious and grief stricken. I wanted to honour my husband with a heartfelt funeral but really didn’t know where to begin. Veronica and her team gently guided me through the process giving me only as many decisions to make and lists to check off as I could manage. I felt respected and never pressured. Communication was excellent and supportive with Veronica even ‘just checking in’ to see how I was doing’. The staff assisted with many details that collectively would have been overwhelming especially answering phone calls about the service managing the condolences, even setting up the memorial tables prior to the service. I felt very cared for and supported through a very dark time. Most importantly though, I felt that my husband would have been very appreciative of the dignified care he and his family received. The service was simple and beautiful and the luncheon was delicious - the day was perfect and stress free. I was able to fully participate without the worry of the event details.Overall, I am left with a beautiful memory of our association with Henderson’s.

All the staff are so warm and comforting. Veronica is so very lovely. We have had 2 family members pass in a couple months and she has beem so accommodatingShe even remembered that our brother loved Kiss and had it playing quietly at the viewing. I feel like they kept us informed through all the steps. Thank you for caring for our mother and brother.

Planning for the loss of a loved one is NEVER easy. You will go through emotions throughout the process and Veronica was there each step of the way. She and Makayla both went above and beyond for my family, answering questions, looking into further options and being so meticulous in the engraving of Dad’s urn.
