France Visa Application Center-Vancouver

I had a pleasant experience at the Visa application center by VFS.Things to note:1) Have your documents printed when you visit the office. Bring originals along too for important documents for verification.2) Do not staple the documents or paste pictures on application.3) Bring Two pictures, agent will attach themself. They also have the authority to reprint and correct any of your mistakes in the form.4) You can bring in your bags or get a locker for $7. No sharp objects allowed inside5) No electronic device other than phone is allowed inside.6) You'll need to pay courier fees if havent paid before. Documents are directly dispatched from consulate to your home address.7) Biometrics are done in the office. Bring photocopy of full passport.Hope it helps.

I would give it zero stars if I could. VFS agents at the Vancouver office guaranteed that my visa would be ready and clearly stated that all my documents and everything were in order. However, it has now been over 30 business days, and I have to spend thousands of dollars changing my flights since my visa is not ready, and nobody from VFS is giving me any information about where it is, how long it will take, or what could be wrong with my application. Their helpline repeats the same info back to me that I could just find in the online tracker, and any emails I send just get replies about how it can take up to 30 business days when I have been waiting two months. They then blame it on the consulate but still don't offer to help or give any insight into whether my application was submitted correctly or if anything is missing. Avoid this service if you can and save yourself the massive headache that I've had to endure.

The worse service you could ever imagine.VFS Global is terrible not just in Canada but worldwide. I don't understand why governments undertake such poorly managed organization for their visa processes.Try calling their hotline, the menu does not make sense. After selecting English it goes to French. No help is available at all. Not even a live chat option on any of their website.

Yash helped me make sure all my documents were in order for my Schengen visa application for Norway. All the staff were very helpful and informative. Very happy with my visa application process!

Their online platform is the worst. It's a real hassle to book an appointment. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've spent more than 3 hours to book an appointment through their website. The staff I've dealt with are not helpful at all.Update:Their support phone number does not work and their staff admitted this fact. They also admitted having a “few glitches” on their website. Hard to grasp how this people still have have contracts with all these countries for handling their immigration paperwork in Canada

I would give it zero stars if I could. A staff member was very rude when I was there. ( he is a black man and curly hair) I don’t know why he was upset with me. I just asked his coworker if he could accept my documents. The entire process has nothing to do with him. When I returned to their office again, the man served me. He was unhappy and unreasonable with me. I didn’t offend him, so why did he treat me like this? I don’t think people like him should work in the France Visa Application Center because he doesn’t have a good attitude towards customers!

For everything people said about this place I was expecting the worse, but in reality I couldn't have had a smoother time. Sophia was super nice and helpful and I can't wait to go to France! As long as you read the government's website and are prepared with what you need, VFS will be super helpful.

I have never expected visa service people to be kind and respectful. But both security and the agent was more than kind and respectful. My flight crossed the country delayed for 13 hours and barely made it on time for my appointment and they squeezed time for me. Both these two men’s kind effort had changed my life for the better at this small crossroad of my life. I want to show my deepest appreciation to their kindness.
