I have been seeing Dr.Kim for 5 years. He has been threw a lot with me having Crohn's . I feel he is knowlodgeable , easy to understand , explains things well. Very friendly. Great personality. Over all I'm very happy with him.

I do not recommend Dr Kim. He let my husband go from bad to worse. He was to forward test results and schedule a CT scan as my husband was to see another Specialist in Vancouver. Neither of these happened so now with this delay my husband is very ill and is unable to work. When Dr Kim realized what he forgot to do, Dr Kim dropped my husband as a patient with no explanation of the above events. My husband had to ask his GP to find out for him.

Dr Kim is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to ensure his patients feel cared for. Like anything doctor-related, the biggest factor in patient success is often the relationship and transfer of information, which Dr. Kim appreciates and attends to each time I speak with him.

Dr. Kim is knowledgable and carefully explain the information patients need. He is persistent with care. His office staff are courteous and efficient and always available.He is current with information essential to his practice. I highly recommend him, having seen multiple gastroenterologists over the last 10 years.

Dr. Kim has been an immense help with managing my Crohn's, helping guide me through various treatment options, and always laying out a plan for what we could do next if current treatments weren't working out. When pharmaceutical options were exhausted, he and his team helped refer me to a wonderful surgeon who also took good care of me throughout the process.Working with Dr. Kim has definitely been a change of pace compared to my previous gastroenterologist, but I think it may be easy to misread him being 'firm' or 'gruff' at first instead of simply passionate, constantly thinking two steps ahead to try to provide you the best care, laying out his thought process so there are no surprises down the line.Bonus - his supporting staff (e.g. reception and booking) have been always consistently professional and helpful in relaying my questions and concerns, even if Dr. Kim himself is busy at the time.

Dr. Kim has always been diligent and thorough treating my disease. I am thankful he is my doctor.

July 17, 2023When discharged from the Abbotsford Regional Hospital ER on June 25, I was given instructions to wait for an appointment from Dr Edward Kim's office. After three weeks, I received no call so I contacted Dr Kim's office this afternoon (ie July 17). I explained to the secretary the purpose of my call. It didn't take a minute for the secretary to check my information. She told me that Dr Kim had left a note to her that if I called for an appointment, to let me know that since my case is urgent"

Dr Kim is a wonderful doctor who has cared for me through a lot of pain over the years. He was consistent, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He has always followed through on his care plans with me, in a timely and professional manner. He never gave up and kept searching for answers until I was accurately diagnosed.I cannot thank him enough for all his care. Would strongly recommend him as a physician.

Dr. Kim is a very understanding and knowledgeable doctor to have on your side. He is to the point, understands his profession, and is genuinely interested in helping people. Highly recommended.
