TERRIBLE police officers who only perpetuate the stereotype of the negative side of police culture. They lack common sense, respect for the public, have poor customer service skills and only care about meeting their quotas with little regard for taking care of the community. Officers here contribute to the perception that the Calgary Police are bad cops. From experience, I can attest to that. Most of them are on an ego trip because of the 'perceived' power of their badges. All they've done is create serious mistrust with the public. Don't even think about taking up a personal issue with an officer with Professional Standards, the Sergeants there do nothing for the public but save their own and dismiss your account of events. All of them should be ashamed of themselves! Truly a disgrace to the field of policing! I would rate them 0/5 if I could but the public should be aware of their disgusting demeanor and sense of entitlement with civilians!

Needed to complete a criminal background check and was treated with utter disrespect, intimidation and left feeling small and insignificant as my questions were received with rude and unkind feedback.Officer would be ideal in the correctional department, not working alongside the public. In shock, as all other experiences with officers were always received with kind and friendly dispositions.Have gained a new and less respectful view of Calgary Police Services.Regardless, thankful for those that are positively engaged in our community. From now on I will take my business and concerns to a different district as I never want to come across this young woman again.

I reported a hit and run. I showed the officer the damage done to my car and the other driver's license plate. He phoned the other driver. The other driver went to the police station and brought his wife, and claimed she was the driver. As the driver" did not fit my description and I could not prove the other car's bumper hit the side of my car

I was directed here (or any district) to show proof of documentation. The officer who I spoke to said to wait around 7 days (had to present within 15 days) and take the documents to court ourselves because they would “probably lose them”. This was not the most reassuring thing to hear, but appreciated the honesty, listened to them and waited a week. I read on the traffic court website that it was closed/not available unless you had a trial date. I called district 7 to ask what we should do given the information on the official website, but unfortunately, the officer interrupted me quite rudely and stated that I must be mistaken because he was sure it was open. My partner and I drove down to the courts, where the Justice of the Peace (amazing, very helpful lady) confirmed we were not allowed to see anyone unless there was a trial and was so shocked 2 separate police officers sent us down that she asked for their numbers to call them personally.Avoid this place at all costs. Also Google maps will not let me post this review, despite a 5 star review being posted 5 days prior.

I had already been helped and the officer who helped me was very nice and helpful. But I had to sit and wait for some papers, which was fine. Sitting here I’m now witnessing and older male white officer being SO RUDE to a woman who requires some type of papers. She doesn’t speak amazing English and didn’t hear or understand what the office said and he is being so rude “ well now you have it on my screen 3 times, you put your finger through my screen” etc etc He isn’t friendly at all, so rude and his face says it all like he doesn’t care.

I came in to file a hit and run report and the young female officer assisting me was very kind and helpful. However, while I was writing my report and older asian couple with poor english skills came in and were assisted by the Sergeant who was extremely rude and short with them. I was actually taken aback by how unprofessional he was. Hopefully he doesn't wear off on the younger staff.

Very bad experience. Met two ladies here, first one was good and nice but the second front desk white lady showed no respect and lacked of patience at all. They may need some customer service professional training then they can do there job better. They should understand what is Service". They are serving the community

Came to get police checks. Absolutely rude in tone from the beginning. Totally rude in attitude and when I would try to ask questions or get an explanation on something that did not make sense he absolutely just cut us off. If your a police officer or working in a police station than act like you are for the people or get out and deal with your insecurity issues. We don't deserve to be treated this way as citizens when we simply came to get something done. So disheartening. Just wow. Did not expect this. We will go somewhere else.

Just went in to ask a few question regards to the Certified criminal record check and the white female officer treated me like I am talking to her in Chinese. I didn’t argue with her because I didn’t want to ruin my day. Never seen a police officer with an attitude like that in my life. Never coming back to this particular police station for any services. Hope the officer finds a job that she enjoys.

I read the bad reviews about this location, but decided to go anyways to report a car accident. A male police officer took my statement, he delt with me as if I had the same level of professional knowledge he has. I asked him simple yes or no questions but only got unclear replys. He showed his frustration when I tried to explain what I understood from his unclear responses. Each time my husband tried to help me with the papers he would simply say Why are you helping her" or " Were you there? To tell her what to write. " Which I didnt like because it was my first experience in a police station."
