White Spot Walnut Grove
Over an hour wait after ordering with no explanations. People who were seated and ordered after us were served in < 20 minutes. Response from wait staff and manager was gruff and unapologetic. We finally ended up leaving without eating to go somewhere else. Worst experience I have ever had at a white spot.

White Spot Walnut Grove
Went to the Walnut Grove branch today for breakfast. We haven’t been since last year. Wow - a wonderful renovation of the restaurant. The revamped menu was excellent. The new booths were very roomy. The bathroom facilities were second to none. Top class cleanliness everywhere and the servers were very pleasant and attentive. Thank you! We will return for dinner one evening.

My friend took My Mom and I out for dinner, can't remember the last time I was at White Spot, anyway didn't know they had a variety of food on the menu, thought only hamburgers, my friend suggested fish& chips were really good so all 3 of us ordered it, the food was excellent and the service too, will be coming back and the bill was very reasonable too.

So when you go into White Spot, you expect great food, and great service. Now, over the year’s the food has improved (we used to get Chicken, Broccoli and Cheese Curry served cold in the center). The menu is pretty standard. Burgers, Sandwiches, fish and chips (their club house is good!) with a few seasonal items thrown in (I miss my Buttermilk Chicken and Brie Sandwich :( ).Where this location fails is the service. It’s not consistently bad, nor is it consistently good. It’s mediocre. So, you start to debate whether or not you should complain, and that frustrates me. If it was bad all the time, I could easily complain in efforts to get management to fix it. If it was good, I’d eat there more. But the servers are not very attentive, and they seem to be forcing happiness. I don’t know if this is due to bad management, or being overworked, but it’s noticeable.Other than that, it’s ok. Would I recommend eating there on a consistent basis? Not a chance. Would I say avoid it? No. Like the service, it’s mediocre so it’s your call.The only thing I do recommend, is that you don’t go on a busy night. Dinner on a Tuesday? Sure. You’ll have a decent experience. Dinner on a Saturday? Get ready to be disappointed.

We were there on a weeknight and were seated right away. Our order was taken promptly and our food was served quickly too.! We had fish & chips and a toasted shrimp sandwich and everything was delicious! Good servers and a nice, family atmosphere.

They have been renovated since our last visit so the ambiance is great! The interior seems new. New flooring, decors and tables. We love the breakfast. It's the usual" Canadian breakfast and we love it."

Since we had our dog along with us we went here for a take out curbside order, while I will grant you the food was a bit better than a triple O drive thru I don't think 2 burgers and sweet potatoes were quite worth 60.00... the soft drink was 6.50 yes 6.50 for a fountain soft drink... we got 1 and shared since, well,.. we needed gas to get home after dinner... won't be doing that again.

My Father and sister and I had an amazing time with delicious hot food and cold pop. I always get the Legendary burger with American cheese. I chose the fries and cole slaw! Goes perfect with the crunchy pickle slice on top of a beautiful burger.

Been to this location many times before. The food is what you would expect for White Spot, nothing wrong with it. My last visit left a strange impression on me. When my partner and I walked in, we specifically requested to sit at the bar because we enjoy the seating more than table service. The hostess left and talked to the bartender for a moment and then came back and told us that the bartender would prefer if we chose a table instead... We were confused and a little put off by this, as it wasn't busy in the restaurant. I've never experienced a bartender turning away customers... Couldn't imagine why they wouldn't want us there. We chose a table and had a quick meal, because we were going to catch a movie. Very strange...

Usually enjoy this restaurant as it is a go-to for our family. Had a bad experience at dinner tonight. Ordered a chicken burger and took a couple of bites. The chicken was raw… pink with blood raw. The server apologized profusely and comped the burger, but it felt like we should have heard from a manager.We tried to explain to a different server that the kitchen needed to see the chicken because it wasn’t safe for other customers. She told us that the kitchen didn’t need to see it, because all that mattered was that I was unhappy. I tried to explain that my happiness wasn’t the issue - the kitchen needed to know, but she didn’t get it. Once again, no manager in sight.We could have made a bigger issue and asked for a manager, but really -should we need to? We were trying not to ruin our Mother’s Day dinner out. We don’t feel safe eating at this location anymore. Really disappointing because I don’t think we can go back.
