Great park! Too bad we missed the museum. It closed for the season on September 1st.

Always clean and well looked after. Friendly faces and lots of fun to be had as well as history to be learned. Historically it was a train yard and the original station is still at this location. Have a great time.

Light up the park! An event that happens every year, is an amazing time for the town of Palmerston to enjoy a night out while knowing you are safe with your family and friends, I was lucky enough to get a few photos that were taken after they lit up the park for the holidays.

Nice find. Pretty quiet. Beautifully kept. Tried to find a bike trail south of the park but could not find it. Found the White's Junction trail to Minto but you can only go so far.

Pretty park with a paved walking path, outdoor pool, splash pad, and picnic pavilion. There's an historic 700 foot long overheard walking bridge beside the old train station which is now a museum. A recently added water feature with a stream and small pond is a pleasant area to sit beside.

CNR Park
This park is wonderful. Plenty of lovely places to sit and enjoy the environment. Very lovely place for kids to play. I’ll definitely take my future children here a lot. There’s a wonderful playground leading into a wonderful splash pad and a nice little pool beside a large ball hockey and basket ball court (it’s big enough for both at once). The part of the park labeled CNR is behind this adjacent to the lovely overhead heritage bridge and beside the water tower/museum (yes, there’s a museum here too!), with a few lovely picnic benches under nice tall trees with a large fountain big enough to sit on its edge in the center. Even in the winter this park is wonderful.Did I mention that behind the bridge with a glorious view is a small ground level creek waterfall that sounds wonderful and has multiple seats set to fully enjoy it with? This park has held some wonderful public events. I’ve been here twice now for the Christmas themed Light Up The Park event that uses the majority of the park in celebration with lights, fire pits and a reindeer for the kids to see. I’ve been to a night time concert with fireworks, booze and food trucks towards the far back. And no it was never too rowdy or sketchy but plenty of fun. I love living in town, and if you’re looking for a nice park, this is the one.Just to clarify, CNR park is part of the larger Lions park.
