Dronyk Health Clinic

Just wanted to share my experience. Please note that I did not get the treatment as I refused to pay Naturopathic consultation of $120. I do not mind paying a consultation fee for a Doctor that will be treating me but NOT for the Naturopath as I do not require their service. Up sell is an office policy. I've used at least 4-5 other clinics with amazing Chiropractors and never needed to pay for a service that I did not want... and the only reason for a potential switch was a location. Those are my two cents.

Dr Bishop at the Dronyk Health Clinic has been a great benefit to my life. I have been seeing Dr Bishop for 4 years now and I always leave my appointments feeling great and blessed. Dr Bishop’s knowledge, politeness and caring disposition makes it comforting to have her working on me. Dr Bishop has a compassionate way about her techniques and is a great bed side listener. I feel the atmosphere at the clinic is very welcoming and relaxing. I always feel like #1 when I walk in the door. I have been so grateful for the home remedies that Dr Bishop has recommended for me as they have greatly improved how I feel and led me down a great path of happiness. It seems that any concern I bring to Dr Bishop’s attention she is always interested and willing to help me solve or get to the bottom of the cause. I am grateful for Dr Bishop and her team at the Dronyk Health Clinic. I personally encourage you to step into the Dronyk Health Clinic and benefit from their highly skilled team. I know it has certainly changed my life for the betterment.

Dr. Bishop is a fantastic health care professional. She is kind, caring, and truly listens to her patients. I enjoy the many different techniques she uses to help heal the body and mind. I trust the care that she provides and my children love to visit her office for treatments as well. Dr. Bishop fixed my chronic back pain after two other chiropractors failed to do so. She has provided me freedom from pain that I thought I might never get. If you are looking for an ND, a highly recommend Dr. Bishop!

Dr. Bishop and Dr. Dronyk are two incredibly thoughtful and kind people, who truly care about their patients. The clinic atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is truly a place of healing!

I am so impressed at Dronyk Health Clinic. Dr. Bishop can relate so well, she addressed the physical and the emotional to make the client balanced. She explains the procedures and just a gentle calm personality.

My experience at the Dronyk Health Clinic has been nothing but exceptional. From the first time I inquired about their services to my first appointment I felt the warmth of their hearts and the commitment they were willing to invest into my health. Everyone is different with their health, needs and wants and so I feel it is comforting to know they are willing to take the time to do a Naturopathic Consultation with each new patient to really get a good understanding. Both Dr Dronyk and Dr Bishop I feel have many skill sets and I think as a patient I am very lucky during my appointments to benefit from all their different techniques, experiences and wisdom. It is truly a 1 stop shop! When I raise a concern about my health they are always willing to listen and work each situation out individually. I have benefited from tinctures, home remedies and treatments that have been provided or recommended to me. I feel that my time and money spent with the Dronyk Health Clinic has been well spent and I honestly could not imagine where my life would be today without their influence. I would highly recommend you visiting the Dronyk Health Clinic.

I have received both acupuncture and total body modification by Dr. Bishop as well as Chiropractic care from Dr. Dronyk. Also have benefited from tinctures and home remedies from Dr. Bishop. Very knowledgeable doctors that take the time to listen and offer health care advice specific to your needs. Would recommend.

I was really hoping that Dr. Dronyk was no longer practicing. I strongly feel that he endangered my son's life. We saw him many years ago when my son was young. He treated my son for months. On one occasion in particular, he examined my son and said that the only thing that was affecting my two year old was negative energy coming from me. Two days later my son was hospitalized with severe pneumonia. We were in hospital for 10 days.

Dr Bishop fixed an injury that I believe was overlooked by a previous medical team, it was vertebral alignments in my neck. She is very good at determining and correcting structural problems. Soon I plan on working with her as a naturopath to manage stress, as she is very knowledgeable. I notice that the fee structure has been well-clarified, pursuant to some if the comments left previously by other users. To conclude, I like it, they are nice and effective!

I don't think it is clear to folks, that even if you are looking for a chiropractor, or chiropractic treatment at this clinic, you have to first go through a Naturopath for an assessment (with $120 admin fee) and then get set up with the chiropractor ($45). It is a very confusing (and expensive) referral system.Initially, I had made an appointment for a chiropractic visit with Dr. Dronyk, because I was looking for a chiropractor to help with a hip problem and he was referred to me. I was really surprised when I arrived and was told I would be seeing Dr. Bishop who is a Naturopath. I balked but then Dr. Dronyk sat in; so as odd as it was I went through giving a lot of information about all kinds of health questions, not necessarily related to my request for a chiro appointment. I was then allowed to have my chiro appt with Dr. Dronyk.Unfortunately, he then explained he wouldn't be doing an adjustment on my hips, which is what my osteopath had suggested and reason another naturopath had referred me on here for chiropractic. It is very disappointing and confusing when you, as a patient who knows your body and has been told what might be advised, get something other than what you think would work for you.Especially when following the treatment, that evening and into the morning, I had unusual and significant pain in my lower back and left hip area requiring I take 2 Tylenol 3 just to sleep that night. When I called, I was told that I should see my osteopath or wait a week for my next visit and try to tough it out. Usually one expects to feel better (not worse) after seeing a health practitioner, so this was very disappointing, just as it was finding out I had to go through (and be billed for $120) for another Naturopath assessment in addition to the one from the previous Naturopath who referred me there for the chiropractic. So that is 2 assessments in less than 2 months!! which takes a chunk out of my health budget and doesnt give me the benefit of treatment or health care that those health $$ dollars are allotted for.Dr. Bishop, however, was good enough to understand the situation when it was explained to her and waive that assessment which represented her time. She also clued me in that while I had thought Larry Steel was a Naturopath, (Dr. Dronyk referred to him as Dr. Steel, and another person may have said naturopath when they recommended him) he is actually a NaturoTHERAPIST and not registered as an ND, so unfortunately I am also out of pocket for what I thought was being covered under my insurance plan as a naturopath.My sincere wish is that practitioners ensure there is clarity around the services they provide (especially from an insurance perspective, as they must know people will expect to use their health benefits and wonder if they are covered) AND that you get what you are requesting and ultimately paying for, especially when you are asking the right questions. It is entirely confusing that if you are calling for a chiropractor, you first have to see and be billed for an assessment by a naturopath.I can't comment further on the results from this clinic, because I will likely not continue, since I have to seek care for the resulting effects from the treatment elsewhere and I have lost my trust in the way things are done at this clinic. I will re post and edit if that changes.
