When renting, agent didn't mention anything about Dropbox, said they would be already there for Dropbox before 9am (indicating they will take the truck and process payment before 9am), when arrived to drop off, door was locked. Tried knocking on window and the agent came out being very rude saying not to knock and to use Dropbox. I apologized said maybe I misunderstood his (keeping my cool), the he didn't take the key but instead did a closeout inspection with me, down talking and being very short, I was still calm, then surprisingly asked me to go inside to checkout despite of them not opening the door in the first place (still before 9am at this point). When I went it, another agent started yelling at me saying not to knock on door. Said I should pay attention" when getting instructions.. the ONLY instruction I received when checking out was "even if you bring it before we open

I ordered 24 feet truck.The day of moving I received the e- mail from u-haul that they can not provide me with 24 ft truck but only 15 ft.They also decided to change the pick up and drop of location from 360 Newkirk which is 5 km from my house to Markham which is 45 km form my house.Ridiculous, is it it?I contacted gentlemen by name Varun at Newkirk location and explained him all above.Hi strive his best to accommodate and solve my problem created by u-haul central office..And he did resolved it!FIVE STARS FOR HIM.I wish u- haul to have more employees as Varun.Thank you again my friend.

No Customer care, sharp speaking and talk with people impatiently.

Excellent service. Staff was very helpful, especially Ramesh. I booked 2 times from this location. 1st was a last-minute call. Both pick up and drop off were easy and quick. Strongly recommend this location.

The worst experience with U-Haul yet. The staff didn't know what they were doing and telling me that my card that was registered online was no good Even though he never tried it. In total it took 2 hrs to get the truck using the card I had on file.After getting the truck there was knifes on the seat and floor and garbage behind the seats. The outside of the truck was covered in mud. When I called them about it they said they would work it out with me when I dropped it off. When I arrived they left the store and locked it going to the curb and ignoring me. They didn't close for another half hour. I contacted the main office and filled a complaint but have yet to get a response. This was on November 8th and it's now November 18th.

Yesterday, we rented a truck for moving in this U-haul dealer...Very satisfied with the service, the tuff, Varun who is very friendly, gave us very helpful advice on our furniture moving.After we drop off the truck after work hours yesterday , the sevice bill sent us on time today with very accrual information, including miles usage and any other items we took.....We are very happen, everything runs so smooth, since online booking to check in/drop off, which let us feel confident on this dealer.....Thanks you very much for your service, U-Haul.Very happy to do busseness with this Jame Storage U-Haul dealer, no matter with Varun or other staffs there....No Doubt, we will take their serivce next time.....John Du

Absolutely pathetic. Booked a truck online. Says your booking is guaranteed". Recieve a call the next day saying it's cancelled and the closest available truck is on the other side of the city. Zero effort to provide any reasonable effort of customer service. Mentioned to me that they can cancel the reservation even though it's guaranteed due to the fine print of the contract. Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. Do not book with this location as it seems they do not have any understanding of their inventory."

Convenient to drop off the truck here that I picked up in Calgary. I returned the truck online. Easy.

Everything you would expect from a rental company. Truck was ready and waiting for my appointment. Fast and efficient service from the guys there. The truck was dirty inside but what do you expect? People rent these pickups to carry what they don’t want in their own vehicles. Some bed trim was falling off but all damages are noted with stickers. Vehicle has tie down loops but bring your own straps.
