I have ordered my cakes and sweets for a baby shower from Sweet Flavors based on my event planner recomendations. our order for the colors was a pastel grey & pink since we are expecting twins (boy & girl). I have specifically asked the decorator who did the communication with sweet flavors that I DON'T want the usual baby blue and baby pink colors and that I would prefer a salted caramel for the flavor of all cake, cookies, pops and muffins. To my utter surprise, I received the cake with baby blue and baby pink colors whereas the whole decoration was a blush (pastel pink) and pastel grey. We were 1 hour away from the event and our decoration was one color and our dessert was a whole different set of colors. I could cry when I saw them, what was supposed to be such a happy event for us receiving our first born turned into a night mare in a matter of 30 minutes. I asked the decorator to give me proof that she ordered what I wanted in terms of colors and flavors and she showed me scree shots where the cake maker confirming the order exactly as we have requested. I was in a bigger shock when we cut the cake and it turned out a normal vanilla cake and the pops were chocolate. I felt that this was really wrong, and too late to fix. It was totally someone else's event, someone else's memory, that we got thrown into.
