The trail is more for ATVs rather than walkers. It is not maintained/well used. Belies the Heritage" name tag. Most of the trail successfully avoids the "Humber" stream!! except near the Edelweiss park."

Paved lot with plenty of room for 10+ vehicles. The syrewn garbage and lack of receptacles is, however, a disgrace

Small parking lot on the side of the road, only fits 2 cars. The hike is nice but bring big spray as it gets bad in certain areas. The main trail is over grown with vegetation, hard to see signage at times.

Late June 2022, hot Sunday afternoon. It is more than 40 km deive from the Elgin Mills, 404. Ample spaces by Duffys, 150/Emil Kolb Pkwy. There is a trail leading down very steep slippery slope deep into the bens of Humber River. Down pto the river bed or side, there is much way to easily fo about. I would not suggest to go this path.The HVHT has north and south while each might require few hours in a return trip. Be prepared with repellanr, drink, snack, cloth, etc...

Parking lot for Humber Valley Heritage Trail
A big parking lot but full of garbage.Yesterday I picked up about 30 cans from there without mentioning the plastic bottles, facemasks and other things. The garbage bin is located close to the map but I guess is too far for people to put the garbage in its place. It was the same 3 years ago.
